it is possible the cont actor or relay that do the switching is bad

there is always a voltage cutoff for all inverter, but it does not stop it from charging when the batery is low,accept the battery is bad

please sir the best battery for your inverter should be a deep cycle battery (dry cell),i believe your inverter has a temperature sensor for the bateries to prevent it from increase in temperature beyond its capacity

the batteries are definitely bad check the battery voltage if it is still normal

it might be that it is not receiving power to charge it or the charging fuse or power input fuse is broken

load relay is stuck new one is not to costly but hard to replace get a 12 are 24v continues duty solenoid and put in the 12 are 24v pos line i am a EVT and we used to do that on are on board supplys for the ambulance much safer than the one in the inverter.

Can you check the charger unit? You could have lost the charger and now it's just dead batteries. Your inverter also has these features:

• Over voltage and under voltage protection
  
• Over-temperature protection
  
• Overload protection
  
• Short circuit protection

Can you check these? This could be why it's dead...

How do you get the PCB out all the 4 screws are out and clips are pushed off the pcb contacts on the sides. Unscrewed the antenna, but not the soldered in bulk antenna mount. I is still locked in somehow? how do I get the board out to look at the keypad buttons so I can see if threre is a bad contact?

Go to the Xantrex website and run through the support section. Then look up the closest service center.

This unit does have an idle mode where it will not output without a load. What I am unsure of is if this exists only for invert mode or for both invert and pass through. Try reprogramming the remote to eliminate the idle feature and then see what happens.

it is and it is no consumer serviceable hs to be sent to nj to be even looked at only thing you can do is check battery voltage

the temp control sensor is optional. If not connected the charger will charge at its default charge. No problem

The ground and neutral are bonded until a source power is sensed by the machine, then they separate.(pg 24 in your manual). The problem is that the GFI receptacle is faster then the xantrex. One solution is to run the 2 ground wires thru a HEAVY DUTY momentary push button that DISCONNECTS, before it ties into your ground bar on your boat. Hold the button down as you plug in to the dock, count to ten and let it go. The internal bonding will have had plenty of time to separate. If you find a better way.......   let me know too. Steve

1997 monoco dynasty and the invorter heart interface freedom model 20 the problem we are having is the we don't get any powere from the electric outlet and the lights don't work and there is a reading in side on wall that tells you about your electricity and it reads overload my # 817-614-7576 donna

Batteries could be too low, or unit could think batteries are too low because it is not set up for your battery configuration. (voltage, amperage, deep cycle, wet, gel, agm etc.)

I am not sure how you set up that model but the manual should explain it. If you don't have one you can get it online from xantrex.

Until the inverter is turned off completely, either via remote or on the front of unit it will draw power, it goes into standby mode. Waiting for a load. Depending on the remote you have, if you have on they turn off differently. A link remote or basic.
