First is check for loose connections on cables and so on. Hopefully it is just a bad hookup. Loose wire, corrosion, nice easy stuff to find and fix.
If it just stopped and after that point you didn't see any life at all then I would think the controller board inside had failed. This controls or varies the speed of the motor. Unfortunetly thats going to be a shop job.
The good news is you should have a two year warrenty on that. So if you contact minnkota they should tell you where to drop it off to get fixed or replaced. The minnkota web page is
