Bissel has no vacuum but everything else works
Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.
Most of the time the reason why the vacuum is not picking up is due to loss of suction. You may need to check for blockages of your wand and hose. Remove the wand and hose from your cleaner when checking for blockages and any damages. Make sure to turn off and unplug your vacuum from the power before doing this. You may refer to your User's Manual for instructions on basic maintenance.
You can purchase a wide variety of high quality Bissell replacement parts for your Bissell vacuum direct from Think Crucial with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

Wont move forward without bumps
This is a very common issue. You will find the sheilds on the front are uneven. The back sheild will me lower than the front. It is faily easy to fix. You can shave the back on down or even sand it down so it is even with the front lip. If this doens not work you can change the back sheild they cost around $10

Cleaning fluid leaking out and machine not suctioning up water
First thing is clean the filters: Heat tank filter on the tank cap, and then the Flow Indicator Filter (turn the Flow Indicator Cap counter-clockwise and remove, lift rotor and filter out. Clean filter and reinstall in reverse order) Consumer Care # 1-800-237-7691
My machine will spray from the hose attachment, but not when I am doing floors.
Check Flow Indicator Filter under the Flow Indicator. Turn Indicator cap counter-clockwise, remove rotor. Filter is under rotor and pulls out. Clean filter. Additionally, check LINT FILTER in the clean water tank cap. Check you User's Guide if you have more questions or call the Bissell Consumer Care at 1-800-237-7691 The other thing you can do in this case is reseat the tank. It may be blocking the housing connection but the sprayer connection is smaller and open. Cleaning the filters after each use though is recommended.
Why isn't shampoo dispensing?
Check your User Guide Page 15. Additionally, check the Lint screen located on the tank lid. Liquid needs to have a clear flow path and a blocked screen will cause a suction to stop the flow. Hope that helped.
Water will not spray out.

Not spraying water and solution
Tanks may be empty or not properly seated.
-Fill up the bladder with hot water and the solution tank with proper cleaning liquid.
-Remove and reseat both tanks
Pump may dry, needed to prime.
-Turn "off" power wait for about minute turn "on" power and depress spray trigger.
Check and clean filter on the deck (under the clean water tank, a red slotted plastic screw)
If nothing works you have to open the deck cover and go into details: check the pump, its a 12V DC motor, the solenoid, its a valve which operates with 120V, the hoses for broken or pinched part, the diode bridge (creates about 12V DC for the pump if the vacuum motor is turned "on" and the secret fuse (3,15A under the heat-shrink series to the diode bridge, if this one goes, no power to the pump!)
