Nothing to hold filter

I have the same problem. Sometimes the filter has been on the floor in that large wooden box under the unit. I have bought filters that were too big and forced the door to shut them in so they don't move. Now if your clips are gone on the outside of the unit door you may have to use good old duck tape (the color of the door) and just tape it.

I have a Intertherm MGHA-056ABFC-05 furnace and the burner will not come on?

The gas valve is seldom the issue. It is the Thermocouple, a relay or the control board. Gas appliances should only be diagnosed and repaired by a certified gas registered technician. In most countries that is the law.

Intertherm inside unit icing while heating

There is no antifreeze in the system. The system is filled with liquid gas and gaseous gas. On the heating cycle, the inside coils should get hot and the outside coils should get cold. In the summer, the heat pump reverses to provide Air Conditioning, the outside coils get hot and the inside coils get cold. They shouldn't really ice up because there is a defrost cycle. You need professional service by an Intertherm technician.

I have a intertherm m1m furnace and the red light blinks 2 times indicating the pressure switch is open how do I correct this problem

The pressure switch is a pressure sensing device to ensure the system is operating within the parameters for which it was designed. The pressure switch on the positive pressure side of the combustion air fan when tripped indicates a flu blockage which will limit the amount of flu gasses passing through the heat exchanger. I would suggest checking the flu for a blockage and if there is a second pipe (combustion air), you should check it also as with either blocked, the proper operation of the pressure switches is in jeopardy. You cannot bypass the pressure switches because the algorithym in the control module will see that the pressure switch is in the wrong position at the moment a call for heat was initiated. If there are no flue blockages apparent but you find that there is no screen on the end of the flu pipe or pipes, you may still have a blockage in the form of a dead bird. They like to roost inside the openings of the pvc pipes for warmth, then die of carbon monoxide poisoning and block the pipe. Sometimes they even make their way the full horizontal length and die at an elbow and fall directly on top of the flu opening on top of the furnace. I have had to make numerous cuts to locate blockages before.

My Intertherm M1MB 077A BW furnace keeps clicking and burns out the transformer

If it burns out the transformer you have a short on the low voltage line somewhere, use an ohm meter to find the short, start by unhooking the thermostat wire

I have a 1987 Intertherm FEH-015HA electric furnace. The issue I am having is that my blower will not shut of unless I pull the disconnect. My thermostat will operate the heating elements like normal,

You most likely have a bad fan limit / cycling switch. If you kill the power to the furnace see if you can trace the wires from the motor to where the connect to the switch. It looks like a round button with tabs sticking out of it for the wires to connect. Mark down where the wires were connected and take it to a HVAC business or furnace supply house. Be sure to have the model off the furnace with you so you can get the correct parts.

1. Remove the grille that covers the blower compartment 2. Yellow flame on propane fueled Mobile home heater. Intertherm model MGH 075A. Can’t find any Maintenance manuals. Help

Yellow flame is very bad, not only is it producing soot that worsens the problem but it is also producing an excess of poisonous carbon monoxide gas. Insufficient air is mixing with the gas to ensure complete combustion and in most case a thorough internal clean will be sufficient to restore it to good health, though checking no combustion gas is leaking from the unit is the tricky part. Faulty heaters kill people and mostly they don't even realise it. Ideally you should have the appliance professionally serviced, inspected and certified...
