My PSP was about to
sounds like you go yourself a brick. what model is your PSP? if its a 1000 series or 2000 then you can use a pandora battery to unbrick it. It will not work with the new PSP 3000. At least not yet. There is also a TA88v3 motherboard that is on the new Slim PSP's. These motherboards are rare, but will not allow custom firmware. They usually start with serial number AB02.
How to eboot your psp i cannot open
in order for your PSP to be able to play eboot files, it needs to have custom firmware installed. if it does, go into "PSP" folder in your memorystick, the go into "GAMES" folder. after you do that, just create a new folder and name it whatever you want, or the name of the game, then just place your eboot file into the folder that you just created . you should be able to play the game now...
Why my psp is problem the analog
take apart your PSP and take off the analog stick. on this stick you will see a little square rubber contact, im not sure if its clear or a solid color, take it off and make sure to pay attention which way is suppose to face the metal contact on the analog stick. if you can get some fine grit (200 or 300 grade) sandpaper and rub the 4 metal contact on the analog stick and you can take of the motherboard, or at least reach the 4 metal contacts on it sand those too. if don't have any sandpaper any pointy metal will do, but you will have to make lots of scratches, not too deep, only where you're able to see the shiny lines you made. put your PSP back together and it should work, i've done this lots of times with the same problem. the bottom pic is the bottom part of the motherboard, see pics :
My scroll in my psp is broken
if im not mistaken you are talking about a problem with the directional buttons. if it is that, here's the solution for that. you have to take apart your PSP, you will see where the directional buttons go. you will have to open up the little strip that is underneath the buttons. you don't need to open up the strip completely. get a Q-tip , get it damp with some alcohol, rub the bottom contacts and the upper. after rubbing it with the tip that has the alcohol, you will rub it with the other side of the Q-tip that is dry. after all this is done, you can put strips back together. they don't have to glued back together. put your PSP back together and it should work. see pic

Not able to connet to internet on PSP 2000 over
well if the connection you are trying to use is secured you will need a password to connect to it. if the connection you are trying to use is not locked well then you are to far from the router. in all case please be mindful if you didnt know that the signal strength of the connect must be at 32 percent and be mindful 32 percent is the beginging. your signal strength should be atleast 50 or better in my opinion for it to be good. goto the NYPL and try to connect there. their wi-fi is free and you will get an excellent signal and that way you will know if its the wifi adapter on ur psp dat is bad
My son took it upon himself to upgrade his game
First I should ask what site he "updated" his PSP from? There are so many hack sites that claim free this or that and really can mess things up. What update did he perform? From where? Writing some things can cause a PSP to Brick. Which is in a sense a hard drive crash. Also how one downloads can as well. There are some fuse inside on the main board as well that can go bad. My gut tells me the download went bad and it bricked but I will wait to hear back on my questions.
- Remove the battery completely and let the unit power down. Now plug in the AC adapter and turn the unit on leaving the battery out. Do things function normally?
- Try a hard boot by holding the power button down for 10 full seconds.
MY psp had a problem,..i just used it last night
I presume that this PSP is a new one and so would request that you take the unit for warranty service than to tamper. All what could be done is to reset the unit and if this wont work contact SONY service for the support/warranty.
