There is a twist button at the 3 o'clock position. Pull this button outwards until it stops. Twisting this will move the hands. When set push the button all the way back in.

The battery ran down too far. Lithium battery controllers typically lock out if the battery is discharged below 2.6 Volts per cell because trying to recharge at standard current could cause a fire. Hi, please view the back of the watch and look for screw or plastic latch that you can use to open the back and access your watches battery. You can search amazon or bestbuy for a replacement battery and then order it. But if you find it hard to open the back of the watch, you can visit a local watch store to help you with that and they might have a replacement battery for you as well. Thank you.

i just found the same model of watch in the closet that some one gave me as a gift 20+ years ago. It's in original box with the instruction. The battery is dead (of course). The instruction is one long narrow sheet of paper with small print on both side. Very complicate setup.

Clock comes out the front, take a sharp knife and get under the edge and gently work it out working all the way around or it might just pop out with a little nudge if the wood has dried out and shrunk

It sounds like it it changing to BST... Make sure the date is correct, and set to UST British Summer Time Universal Standard Time (GMT)
