I am getting bits of pieces of silver flaky

That is probably the nonstick coating coming off the paddle or your breadpan or both. Are there scratches in your pans or paddles surface where you can see the metal under the non-stick coating? If yes, that is probably what you are seeing in your bread. I would tell you to try to get a new pan and paddle if they are scratched, but if your machine is squealing too then you should try to get a new or good used machine as you would end up spending more on the pan and paddle plus repairs to end the squealing, so you should just replace your whole machine. I have some models that are like new if you are interested in buying one. I would have to go through ebay and sell the almost new/new ones for $40.00 including shipping if you are east of the Mississippi. If you shop on ebay you can get one from me or of course others sell them there too.

Breadman Ultimate TR2200C: "--H Error"

I had the same problem recently, however my machine was in use. I unplugged the breadmaker, let it sit and cool. After 1/2 an hour, It was functioning properly. If this doesn't solve the problem, after plugging IN try holding STOP/RESET button for 3-4 seconds.

worth trying...

My breadmaker has stopped working.

This problem happened to me twice in the past two years. The situation arises when any bread-making cycle is interrupted by switching the power off. I was was thinking that the machine was finished. The solution is to wait long enough (24 hours or more) for the internal cycle to reset itself. Since I couldn't study this problem at leisure, I cannot tell if the power should be ON or OFF. Just turn on the machine to see if it's over.

Main control panel does not power but inner light is on.

The light is probably powered directly from AC but the display is dependent on a (probably primitive) small power supply which may be separately fused internally. If you find no obvious fuse inside, you really need a multimeter to check after opening the housing. You can buy these now cheap digital meters at auto parts stores or electronic outlets.
Once you have one, you could comment back here for further guidance. It would help if you attach a snapshot of any boards you find inside.

I doubt that a fuse is blown, since the paddle struggles to move. The problem is going to either be a loose or broken paddle connection, or a bad motor drive. Couldn't find anyone else that had this exact problem, so there's not much to go on. If it's brand new, I would complain and see if you could get a replacement, since it's obviously defective. Wish I had more, and hope this helps.

The bread pan leaks dough

Hi, your best bet would be to look on eBay. Perhaps you can get one there, but they are kinda expensive if you can find one.

Take care

Dense, misshapen (maybe undercooked?) loaf!

A COMMON problem is to use regular flour instead of the "bread flour".

I stack the ingredients in a particular order for my Hitachi brand breadmaker. The liquid goes in on the bottom. Then the BREAD FLOUR ( high glutten), then other powdered ingredients EXCEPT the yeast... It goes on top so as to be exposed and activated the last thing during mixing... The flour I use is the "Better for Bread" brand. Using regular enriched flour usually results in a paperweight half as tall as it should be.

After initial mixing, the dough should be in a ball and not really sticking to the sides of the container.
