Hi I have a gl616 cooker when turned on and flame on gas mark 9 the flame dies down then it turns off, any reason why this happens have replaced the fan,problem still occurs.

Your ad says you have an Electric Range and I googled the model number and it says electric,
Why are you putting Gas into a electric range.
You would have to rewire the whole range because of the heat that gas makes. Wires have a certain grade when working with electricity only, and a certain grade when using both. Electric Range usually stay Electric, Gas ranges for Gas.

Sounds like you need to adjust the actual burner valve and not the thermostat control. If they are one in the same try adjusting it. I had a stove in my camper that did this. The answer was to let the flame burn for a few minutes BEFORE closing the door. I think the original problem is that there is too much gas flowing to the burner and it literally blows itself out, until you get everything heated up and working. The question, I think, is there a way to turn down the gas pressure??
