Need part no. 69-6047-031-200 regulator valve

e parts has a regulator that will work for 27.95, you just have to grind a small flat spot on the outer edges of the fitting,180 degrees across from each other to get it to fit.

One burner has full flame, the 2nd burner has low flame!

Has your grill always done this or is it something that recently has started. If this is the first time there might be a difference between the BTU ratings of each burner.

How do I get my grill going?

Hook up the propane tank and open the valve. Then turn whichever valve is the starter to start/high. Hit the igniter and it should start.

I can light one burner to produce low flame only.

Mike, your gas regulator is locked up. To solve the problem, do the following.

1. Turn the tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow) until the valve is fully open.

4. Light on burner and turn it to HIGH. Does the flame height look correct? If so, light the other
burner the exact same way. Do both flame heights look correct? If so, you solved the problem.

In the future, always remember to turn the tank valve ON very, very slowly.

If the above didn't solve the problem. You will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. You can pick one up from any hardware store or home center that sells gas grills & accessories for about $30.00. Take you old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Happy Grilling!!

Thermos Grill2GO gets warm but not hot.

Often the problem is pretty simple. I forget to turn off the control knobs when turning on the propane. This triggers the new safety mechanism in the regulators that restricts the gas flow. To re-set, disconnect everything, then reconnect with all knobs in the off position. Turn on the propane at the tank to "pressurize" the system. Sometimes I have to do it twice to get it to work right! If not - I'd suggest you contact customer support at Char-Broil (they make it) and get some tips.

The flame on my Thermos Grill 2 Go propane grill

Check the orifice, they are the culprit most of the time. Be careful when cleaning the orifice its a small hole and you do not want to enlarge it.
