Can you tell me where to get a manual for my AMT shaper/router model 4750?
Apparently AMT is no longer in business. Guardian Power FDM16 sp drill press binds when trying to lower bit.
by first engaging the quill lock (or blocking the quill in place), then removing the nut over the center of the spring housing opposite the quill handle, but be very careful; The spring is under a lot of tension, and if broken or jarred, it can fly out of the housing, causing serious injury. I'd strongly suggest you find a service manual for it before attempting any repairs or adjustment. The fact that the quill is binding leads me to believe that the spring is set improperly, which might be remedied by carefully (slightly) loosening the nut, thus allowing you to rotate the housing, allowing a small amount of tension at a time to be removed from the spring, until desired operation is achieved. In any case, no attempt should be made to remove the housing until the spring tension is safely relieved. The procedure is very similar to that for a bridgeport mill, so that manual for quill (clock) spring adjustment/replacement might be of use to you also.
User manual for super body shaper
Shapewear is essentially the corset of today. Shapewear slightly shapes the body, smoothes curves and enhance appearance. It also creates support for the wearer. It has a high lycra content. When lycra yarn is stretch, the elasticity causes it to hug the body. It's used to smooth underwear lines and curves. It can also be cut and sew with a woven fabric, thus holding the body in due to the inability for the fabric to stretch (like a corset). To answer your question about if it works, yes it does. With consistent use, you will definitely see a difference as I have. Try to search some relevant on

The sanding belt keeps coming off. The tracking adjustment isn’t functioning.
This belt should be mounted so that the overlap trails when the belt sander is used, sometimes these belts will have arrows indicating the direction of rotation but not always. The arrows usually disappear after a bit of use anyway so if you change grits or re-use belts it is good to know which way to run the belt by looking at the join.
Here another fix that has worked for me. Take some ordinary electricians tape and make several laps around the idler pulley on the belt sander. Put more thicknesses near the center of the idler, than the outside. This effectively builds a small crown on the pulley and makes the belt stay centered. Also, always relieve the tension on the belt when not using the sander. The belt can stretch and tracks poorly if this happens.
