I have a better chef, siphon coffee maker that will not heat the water

If your Better Chef siphon coffee maker is not heating the water and the timer buttons are on but nothing happens, there could be a few possible causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the power supply: Ensure that the coffee maker is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Verify that the power outlet itself is functional by plugging in another device.
  2. Reset the coffee maker: Try resetting the coffee maker by turning off the power, unplugging it from the power source, and waiting for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on again.
  3. Verify timer settings: Make sure that the timer settings are correctly set. Check the user manual for your specific model to ensure that you have set the timer correctly for the desired brewing time.
  4. Check the water level: Ensure that the water reservoir is filled to the appropriate level. Some coffee makers have a minimum water level requirement for proper operation.
  5. Clean the coffee maker: If the heating element or the water flow is obstructed by mineral deposits or other debris, it may prevent the water from heating. Clean the coffee maker as per the manufacturer's instructions, paying special attention to the heating element and water pathways.
  6. Contact customer support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is recommended to reach out to Better Chef customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or advise on potential repairs or replacements.
Remember to always refer to the user manual provided with your coffee maker for model-specific instructions and safety guidelines.

The valve parts need to be replaced, if it is only happening when brewing coffee then there is so much pressure on the pump that it is forcing the valve open. First try adjusting the amount of coffee be added to the chamber for brewing.

It does not let all the water go through the entire brew, I have to press the start button twice. This just started happening yesterday and today

'make model (what it is)' as the first 3 words of every question please. When was it last serviced? These coffee dispensing machines need dealer service at least once a year, to clean, lubricate and replace internal seals in the brew head. Of course they don't tell you this when you buy them.

I have a Siemens Surpresso S75. It asks me to

My Siemens Surpresso S75 had the same problem, it also gave a message to fill the pipe but when i hit the button water came out the nozzle. There is a water flow sensor inside the machine that was stuck so the machine thinks that it doesn't have any water in the pipe. The sensor i quite cheap, like 20$, but you have to take the whole machine apparat to get to the sensor, which is located near the water tank. Is a round white piece with two hoses and a couple of wires going into it. I ordered the sensor, but while i waited for it to arrive i was able to fix my old one by taking it appart and freeing up the stuck impeller inside.

Rancilio Classe 7 / can not program right-side buttons

Hello Olaf. If you are experiencing difficulties programming the right-side buttons on your Rancilio Classe 7 espresso machine, there are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue: 1. Reset the Machine: Start by performing a full machine reset. Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on again. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches and restore the programming functionality. 2. Check Button Connections: Ensure that the buttons on the right side are properly connected and securely in place. If any of the buttons feel loose or have poor contact, it may prevent proper programming. Gently press each button to ensure they are seated correctly. 3. Clean the Buttons: Sometimes, dirt or debris can accumulate around the buttons, affecting their functionality. Clean the buttons on the right side using a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild cleaning solution. Ensure that the buttons are completely dry before attempting to program them again. 4. Firmware or Software Update: Check if there are any available firmware or software updates for your Rancilio Classe 7 espresso machine. Manufacturers occasionally release updates to address issues and improve functionality. Visit the Rancilio website or contact their customer support to inquire about any available updates for your specific model. 5. I have a older coffee art plus that i just purchased, all connected to electric and water. When we turn the unit on all we get is all of the lights are blinking any help would be appreciated.

Water blockages inside a coffee machine are typically caused by impurities in the water supply and coffee grounds that find their way into the tubes. While minor blockages aren't so bad, they worsen with time. That can lead to the total blockage that's causing the machine's lights to flash. How to resolve it: If a water blockage is causing your coffee machine lights to flash, you must restore smooth water flow. That process involves an up-close inspection of all the machine's hoses or tubes. Your goal is to locate the blockage so you can remove the affected hose section and clear it out.

My BES 820 coffee machine on starting has only 2 lights flashing, the small hot water light and steam light.

All these home brew coffee machines are problematic in home use and this particular model was dropped from production, Try a power reset. Remove the mains plug for 5 minutes. Press and hold the Power button for 12 seconds, plug back in and continue to hold the power button for a further 12 seconds. If that doesn't fix it, you will need a local Breville service centre to look at it with a view to installing a new control board f one is available.

Pipe Pro 304 not revving up when starting arc

If your Miller Pipe Pro 304 is not revving up when starting the arc, there are a few things you can check:
  1. Check your fuel level and make sure you have enough fuel in the tank. If the fuel level is low, the engine may not have enough power to rev up.
  2. Check the battery voltage and connections. If the battery voltage is low or the connections are loose or corroded, the engine may not start or rev up.
  3. Check the air filter and make sure it is clean. A dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the engine and reduce its power.
  4. Check the spark plug and ignition system. A faulty spark plug or ignition system can cause the engine to run poorly or not rev up.
  5. Check the throttle control and make sure it is set to the proper position. If the throttle control is set too low, the engine may not have enough power to rev up.
If none of these solutions work, it may be necessary to take your machine to a professional for further diagnosis and repair.

Hi, I'm using the machine coffee Jura ENA Micro 90. when I start to make a cup of coffee, the grinder is working until the cup of coffee is done.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the grinder's programming or calibration. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the grind settings: Make sure the grind setting is not set too low, as this can cause the grinder to continue grinding even after the brewing process has started. You may need to adjust the grind setting to a coarser level.
  2. Clean the machine: If the grinder is clogged with old coffee grounds, it may continue to grind to compensate for the lack of coffee being produced. Clean the machine thoroughly, including the grinder, and try again.
  3. Reset the machine: Turn off the machine and unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can sometimes reset the machine and resolve any software or programming issues.
  4. Contact Jura customer service: If none of the above steps work, it may be necessary to contact Jura customer service for further assistance or to schedule a repair.
I hope this helps!

My nescafe dolce gusto mini me is leaking milk from the bottom so some milk is going into the cup and the rest on the worktop. Any ideas?

If your Nescafe Dolce Gusto Mini Me is leaking milk from the bottom, there may be a few possible causes:
  1. Check the milk capsule: Make sure that the milk capsule is inserted properly and is not damaged. If the capsule is damaged, it may cause leakage.
  2. Check the milk frother: If the milk frother is clogged or not working properly, it may cause the milk to leak from the bottom. Try cleaning the frother and see if the problem persists.
  3. Check the machine: Check the machine for any cracks or damages that may cause the milk to leak. Also, make sure that the water tank and drip tray are properly in place.
  4. Contact customer support: If none of the above solutions work, contact the Nescafe Dolce Gusto customer support for assistance.
In any case, make sure to clean up any spilled milk thoroughly to avoid any safety hazards.
