Laptop ibm t60 screen white,
Hi,
Check your laptop's LCD connections. One of the below items may need replacement or you may need to just reinsert them, might be loose.
- LCD cable
- LCD inverter
- LCD itself
NOTE: Most often, the LCD inverter is the culprit.
Hope this helps.
Bottom half of laptop screen
Hi,
Try to hook up an external monitor just to check that it is not a problem with the video card of the laptop. Most likely the LCD cable is loose or the LCD inverter needs to be replaced.
Hope this helps.

When turned on it starts up through to opening
I would suggest taking it to a repair shop and asking them to perform a "MEMTEST" the chances are that one of your memory modules has failed. Usually you would have two modules inside a pc or laptop. if one of them fails it stops everything from working. You probably just need to replace one of them at a cost of around £20 - £30 and this will usually resolve your problem.
When i insert new Ram
The problem is the RAM you inserted into the computer. Your laptop supports DDR PC2700. It will not work with DDR2 or DDR3. If it is not, you will need to get a different type of memory. If you have used the correct type of memory and it is inserted snugly, it is likely the RAM is defective, and you should return it.
I have 2 ibm thinkpad R50p. one is constantly
the one constantly shutting down may have heat issues. check that the fan and heatsink are not clogged.
the one messing with your radio all the time must be having a wireless RF interference problem or something. Try turning the wifi off and plugging it in with a CAT5 cord.
