20 Most Recent Stanley Hardware 730610 110 Lb Garage Door Extension Springs Questions & Answers

I have built many garage doors and installed many door openers. The typical garage door spring is not that hard to replace. I have to have 2 steel rods 1/2 inch in diameter to slowly tighten the spring.

It's is straight forward. Select a replacement spring with the same tension color as the original spring. The color is applied to one of the hooks. Above all thread the safety wire through the center of the spring.

I don't see DST mentioned for these timers... some timers can advance or fall back 1 hour by pressing 1 button (usually marked with DST) or by pressing two buttons simultaneously ... the manuals do not specify this function.
