Dell PowerEdge 840 (becwmk1_2) Server - Page 7 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hello my laptop laptop dell will not let me in, it shows me this # H4269L1-595B I would like your help
no PC stated, good luck lacking such key facts and no OS stated.
I guess your unstated PC is BIOS password locked.
it is true even my 2014 dell 3020 has unlock jumpers.
but NO PC stated and jumpers if there at all (now illegall)
are different by model of PC not stated.
if there at all.
if you don';t like wild goose chases to jumpers that are not there
tell what PC you own first, or even show the screen errors.

if it is a windows password you can download the passworkd changer and boot of the usb and change the password.
if it is the hard drive password you will have to replace the hard drive
If it is a cmos password you will have to take it in and have it fixed. no way to recover password.

it is a windows 98 game and might not work on xp. I have had that same problem with some of the older games. so you might want to find a updated verson so it will work on xp.but I did not find a new verson but that does not mean there is not one.

Get a usb wifi adapter and see if that solves the problem for awhile and if it does it again replace the hard drive for the spot the drivers are on is bad and if that is the case the wifi will not connect for the drives are bad on the hard drive. best thing is to replace the harddrive and reinstall windows. hadrives are only good for about 2 years or less better to get a ssd for it is faster and will work longer some get up to 5 years.

time to replace the key board someone has spilled stuff on it and now it is time to replace it. even tho so one would admit it. yup have to replace the keyboard

Dell Computers &... | Answered on Apr 24, 2019 | 41 views

you will have to go on a different computer and go to and down load the drivers and then install them on the computer you installed windows 7 for I had that problem when I installed w7 and that is what I had to do. So from then on i downloaded the drivers and put them on a usb and keep them with the w7 install disk. so if I had to reinstall w7 again i had the drivers.

a one beep wonder, (but does not boot (forgot to say that?)
so that is this thing, 531.
an 11 year old desktop, running what windows xp, vista or 7
so when you turn on any dead desktop, the monitor (unstated)
shows no Signal, or no sync or works near same.
it will do that on every monitor made, newer owns show.
monitor cable disconnected, can not connect.
then PC on 2 fans spin, the PSU fan and the CPU fan.
if no fans spin, the PSU is dead or overloaded.
so fans are first here, do tell this.
ever clean it of all that 11 years of packed up inside lint?
causing fans to fail or simple overheating?

Fans what to the fans do ,seen heard and felt blow air.

WELL, it's a sever, and not a PC or desktop work station
it is for SERVING files, only. (and vast users same time)
see the spec here.

also has week video, for the same reasons.
Embedded ATI Radeon 7000-M

no purpose stated, computers can do 10,000 things.
but servers are not PCs ,,,

Hi there, Have you tried using VLC player? VLC will play almost any video. If VLC doesn't it may be safe to say your video is corrupted. Alex

old Latitude, street value $20 or less.
laptop it IS. 2013 made so is only 6 years old.
first step like all laptops made is run with the silly long dead or worse shorted Big battery removed, run on AC power pack only
does it.
then replace the RTC coin cell next.

if it runs OK on NO BIG battery that tells you that big BAT IS NO GOOD, as millions are now. endless sea of bad batteries.
if mobility is important replace it or if not run on AC forever.

Dell Computers &... | Answered on Apr 17, 2019 | 34 views

the laptop has 2 batteries
the big one that can fail in 1 year flat, abused.
and the RTC coin cell inside at 7 years (spec)
what we do is replace them, on all PCs that have them.
the battery business is HUGE, BILLIONS sold a year.
no laptop stated, at all, so can't wax smarter can we.
the laptop runs with the big battery removed, does yours.
tell what the PC does good, bad and ugly.
tell ALL< and answers go way better, it is after all a computer.

Dell Computers &... | Answered on Apr 16, 2019 | 38 views

I am not sure how old the Laptop is the 3000 model was used for many years, so confuses me.
but on all PCs if old both batteries are bad.
RTC battery and the main huge battery.
next is HDD bad
what any wise shop does is test the HDD first.
do not try to recover any PC of any kind with a bad HDD.

the RTC Coin cell is dead, making BIOS go CHAOS.

or the hdd is bad, or OS is fully corrupted, the former will cause the alter too.

we first test the HDD, ask how. or ask at millions have asked this same question, endlessly..........

post your full service tag, so we can see what this PC really is... as sold options too.

is this it?
