dell.com has this answer, we are not dell.
all 2000 errors are in the manual for errorss.
146 means.
hdd error, hard drive.
what you do is use F12 ePAS diagnosics.
power on
hammer f12 key
ePSA screen POP'ss
the click "through test"
the deselect all test but HDD
and run it, it will fail, because your unstated PC has a bad HDD.
then you will ask hot to fix bad hdd, answer replace it.
new HDD and a new OS.

all 2000 codes here

every one.

the service manual is time stamped, 2014 rev.0
so can be 5 years old.
the F2 bios information page is TRUE year, build date.
the dismantled PC has vast tags with dates,
the chips, on all boards in pc have date codes.
the DVD drive if present the label has date.

the manual free at dell.com shows how to do this.
2: HAMMER F2 KEY (tap, tap ,tap) bang, BIOS MAIN PAGE POPS

example of modern DELL bios , mine.

msr606 what is it?
ask the make why it does not run here.
it is an EXE application I see, so why expect that to run on
Chorome OS>?

no PC stated, exact model, nor OS you run on it.
it came with
running the Linux-based Chrome OS as its operating system

Hello my laptop laptop dell will not let me in, it shows me this # H4269L1-595B I would like your help
no PC stated, good luck lacking such key facts and no OS stated.
I guess your unstated PC is BIOS password locked.
it is true even my 2014 dell 3020 has unlock jumpers.
but NO PC stated and jumpers if there at all (now illegall)
are different by model of PC not stated.
if there at all.
if you don';t like wild goose chases to jumpers that are not there
tell what PC you own first, or even show the screen errors.
post photo
or post the service tag data
or ask at dell.com (goggle "dell.com support")

if it is a windows password you can download the passworkd changer and boot of the usb and change the password.
if it is the hard drive password you will have to replace the hard drive
If it is a cmos password you will have to take it in and have it fixed. no way to recover password.

it is a windows 98 game and might not work on xp. I have had that same problem with some of the older games. so you might want to find a updated verson so it will work on xp.but I did not find a new verson but that does not mean there is not one.

that is a bummer for to fix it you have to order the whole top cover and replace it. for some reason the touch pad is broken from under neath and will now not work. I have had to place some of them. to fix it tempery take off the key board and unplug the touch pad and us a reg mouse.

Get a usb wifi adapter and see if that solves the problem for awhile and if it does it again replace the hard drive for the spot the drivers are on is bad and if that is the case the wifi will not connect for the drives are bad on the hard drive. best thing is to replace the harddrive and reinstall windows. hadrives are only good for about 2 years or less better to get a ssd for it is faster and will work longer some get up to 5 years.

you will have to go on a different computer and go to dell.com and down load the drivers and then install them on the computer you installed windows 7 for I had that problem when I installed w7 and that is what I had to do. So from then on i downloaded the drivers and put them on a usb and keep them with the w7 install disk. so if I had to reinstall w7 again i had the drivers.
