Hughes net error ox80040154
Here something you might want to try, first open an elevated command prompt:
Click Start , click All Programs , click
Accessories , right-click Command Prompt , and then click
Run as administrator .
Type the following in the command prompt:
netsh advfirewall reset
Once the firewall reset is done, it should say OK.
Next type:
netsh interface ip delete arpcache
Let me know if those commands help, if not there are further steps we can take.

First of all, having two Security Program in your laptop is not a good idea. Most of the time it creates conflict and would result into some sort of confusing each other whom would detect that virus. Other than that, having two security software would slow down the computer performance as both programs would eat large amount of your RAM. Best thing to go here is to uninstall either AVG or Norton. I recommend AVG as it has this feature called Email Scanner which would help detecting such virus that goes through emails. For more AVG FAQ you may check. www.avg.com/faq

Can't start STLog.dll
There may be a startup entry still trying to start up the
program - check using msconfig.
Also check services.msc and if there is any entry related to Dell Data safe or STService stop it from starting.

Having trouble downloading new version of
I used to have a windows vista pc and apart from having to worry about viruses, like you are, I was spending more and more time every day just waiting around for it!My advice: check out ubuntu.comUbuntu linux is a free open-source OS which will run your pc MUCH faster than vista ever did, and is secure, unlike windows. You can even try it first without installing it, using a USB stick.

I have an Advent PC running Vista Home
My advice is that you really do not want a Windows Vista PC at all! Are you trying to get it back to how it was when it was new because it's become so slow that you can't use it? Yep, been there. The best solution is to go to ubuntu.com website and find out how easy it is to upgrade to the Ubuntu free open-source OS. It will run your computer MUCH better than vista ever could. I have change several windows PC to Ubuntu and they are now much faster, and they don't slow down over time like all windows PCs do.Trust me, you'll never look back.PS Choose Ubuntu 10.04 version. It has the best free support.

Can not load www.walmart.com
Check your browser to see if the security settings are set too tight. I would recommend resetting security to the default setting. In Internet Explorer, this is done in the tools/internet options menu. Also, check your internet security software. The site you want may be set on a blacklist and not allowed to load.If all else fails, download Firefox or Chrome and use one of them as your browser.
