use safe Mode to recover the problem
1:restart the computer
2:Press and Hold F8 Key
3:Select last known good configuration> and press enter

(if the above solution did not solve your problem use the second method )

4:instead of selecting last known good configuration you select Safe mode and do System Restore

restart your system and keep pressing F8 key when the system is starting
then select "LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION" using arrow keys and click on enter.
if this did not solve your problem then select
Safe Mode and click on enter then go to system restore and roll back your system to a point that was working properly

1 - r u facing NO Audio/Sound issue...?
2 - is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

if ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....and no file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it….

Follow these steps, do not install anything beyond WindowsXP (SP2) and Explorer 7, download windows install clean up utility from microsoft site (also attach the file), install the utility and run, from the list un-install only the old problematic WebReg appear in the list, however be careful. Unfortunatly Toshiba do not provide an operating system disc with their machines it's just the recover disc which is designed to restore factory settings. I have tried but failed to get just the O/S to install. In theroy you should be able to get a copy of Vista from Toshiba as you correctly stated you have payed for it. While your looking at doing a clean install I would recommend download the free windows 7 RC from microsofts website. It's so much better than vista.

simply update drivers

virus or driver problem, download malware bytes anti malware , run a full scan remove all shits, install latest vista service packs and download latest drivers for your devices,......

probably you have missed the uxtheme.dll file, press windows key + r
type in sfc /scanonce and insert origninal vista dvd , after restoration reboot and you will have your shiny theme back

The problem is in the configuration of your Windows program. Try booting in safe mode.
If it works better, then there is a driver affecting the performance of your computer.

Click on Start > Run> type MSCONFIG > select STARTUP and mark or unmark the drivers you do not need.

You need to contact Microsoft and get your Key back, no one on here can supply you with a product key, what you are asking for is Illegal.
