Where is the fuel pressure regulator on a 2003 oldsmobile alero?

There are 2 fuel lines connecting to the fuel injector rail. The larger line is the pressure line and the smaller line is the return line. The smaller line attaches to the fuel pressure regulator. You will notice that the regulator also has a vacuum line attached to it. If you are planning on changing it your self, let me know. There is a specific way to change it for safety reasons.
Let me know.

Radio won't turn off.

The radio should still shut off after 20 minutes even if the door is not opened. If it stays on longer than this there is still a problem..

2003 Oldsmobile Alero starts and then dies. I've put new crankshaft sensor in it and fuel filter. Battery is good and the fuel pump is working. The security light isn't on, what else could it be?

Question edited for clarity and typos. Question moved to model category. It is a known issue. Fuel pumps can work, but not provide enough pressure, so you need to test with a pressure gauge. There is also a Pressure Regulator. No dash or tail lights for my 03 alero and all

first check fuse 45 in the box under the hood. If you, try swapping the AUTO PRK relay (#19) with another relay to see if that's the problem. I believe it's one or the other of these. If not, please get back to me.

HI there, my 2003 Oldsmobile

Hi there!

You might have a bad head gasket on your car and thats what keeps it lose the coolant and also power, and the head gasket Cost only around $50 but the repair depends on the Mechanic. If you take to a shop they will charge you about $500 and if you try to get somebody who does that kind of jobs for Extra cash then he will be Heck of lot cheaper. Good luck

2003 olds alero 3.4l v6 symptoms include : loss of horse power, mass hesitation, surging, un responsive idle.

I'm assuming you meant 5000 RPMs? If so it sounds like your transmission is slipping. That would also cover the other symptoms you mentioned except for unresponsive idle. I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. It's also possible that it's your computer but not as likely

2003 Alero (3.4) wont start or even attempt to

Wow, that is quite the electrical psychoanalysis :0) You have got some major electrical issues going on here. Well, the first things that I would suspect to even get a little idea as to what is going on, considering that you have multiple systems with electrical failure and some are not even related systems that should be in any way connected, I would check first the main computer. It sounds as if the main computer system could be on it's way out to complete failure. However, I am not even sure that the computer could cause so many system wide failures, therefore, I would also be very suspicious of your main wiring harness. Years ago, I had an old 1968 Datsun Roadster Convertible. They used to call them the Datson 311, it was the pre Z care before building the first 240Z. I had multiple systems intermittently failing and coming on at all times, hit the horn and the lights go out, press break and lose power to the stereo, etc. I did not have quite as crazy of a system problem that you have, but it was pretty bad when my lights went out driving over the mountain pass in the middle of the night when I hit a bump at 65mph. What I discovered is that I had an overheat problem (never did find the cause) that melted my main wiring harness together at the block where the harness enters from the engine compartment through the firewall. As a result, wires became cross wired and shorted out intermittently because all the coating had melted of the wires and every-time the car bumped even just a little, systems would change and wire into other systems. Not a very common problem, in fact very very rare, but you have very uncommon symptoms so who knows, maybe I have seen it happen twice in a lifetime.
Good luck, and if you figure it out, post your solution. This is one I would love to know the answer on since it is so unique.
Good luck

I have a 2003 oldsmoble alero 3.4 that I changed motor in and don't remember where the ground wire off the battery goes

With the battery in place, the length of the earth wire should give you a guide. There will be a bolt hole somewhere close to the battery box. It will probably be located on the inner wing, (fender), or one of the mounting bolts on the very top of the suspension strut.
