Where i can find the toggle switch on my car honda exr

unless its factory which its probably not because they dont use toggles to my knowledge... It's where ever the guy who installed your aftermarket alarm decided to put it... Which unfortunately, was completely up to him...Look around the driver's side floor board on the plastic paneling because that is the most common place to install an alarm system and most technicians like to keep in all in the same corner they are running the wires. Typically around the steering column due to easy access to the turn signals and horn and other components of the sort...Good luck

Why is my runtime only 1 minute

In your setup menu you have a few different run time lenght options.Sounds like your is set to 1 minute to save gas. I have my F-350 powerstroke set to 25 minutes because diesel's run better when they are hot.Leave your A/C or heater on when you turn off the vechile and next time you remote start it will be cool in the summer (A/C left on) or warm in the winter (Heater left on)

Why does my viper alarm chirp for no reason

well if it only seems to do it when u go into places where u can not hear ur alarm when it sounds then more than likely its telling u that the alarm had been tripped. Most alarm systems have that feature that it just chirps every so many secs to let u know.

Where can I get a viper 5501 installation guide

That link there should take you to a pdf install guide, bit i have to warn you first, this guide and the instructions all have one thing in common. That is a warning that your particular system is designed FOR PROFFESSIONAL INSTALLATION ONLY. Meaning if you make an ooopsie, and kill the system, to bad so sad you didn't have a pro install it. But here is the link anyways. Do as you see fithttp://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=viper%205501%20installation%20guide&source=web&cd=3&ved=0CCwQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Facsdistributors.com%2Fuploads%2Ftechinfo%2Fviper%2Fmanuals%2F5501v%2520Install.pdf&ei=SDD0TsvkBcLAgQeKhMSSAg&usg=AFQjCNG4tG3EDwXjxt6nE-uRy4dWhvFhDA

I have a viper 160xv remote starter sys ane my remote 474v 4 button only starts my car need to program it to lock and unlock it

I checked around to see what i could find out about these systems and while they seem to be one of the better ones, the one thing i keep seeing no matter which system i look at is the following words....Installation to be done by a professional installer only. This usually means you have to take it back to where ever you had it installed and have them "PAIR" the keyfob and the system again or to activate new or "LOST'" features. Sorry i can't be more help but that's all i could find out about the systems. Sorry

Where did they put the valet/program buttom on my 2004 Rendezvous?

This is somebody else's so;ution, but it might give you an idea on where to start. I always thought the valet switch was just a key that you gave to the valet. But inn this case out of my legue, my old dodge pickup doesn't hAVE AND MOST LIKELY NEVER WILL HAVE A VALET SWITCH. So check this so;ution oout and see if it gets you going in the right direction. There should be a key specifically for a valet. 1) Open one of your vehicle's doors and turn the ignition, using the car key, to the "Run" position. Check to see that the dome light comes on. Make sure that you have the dome light set to the position where it powers the light when the door is opened, as there are usually three settings: one for "On," one for "Off" and one for when a door is opened.2) Press the valet remote push-button to access the channel that you want to program: once for "Arm/disarm," twice for "Trunk Release" and three times for "Remote Start." The valet push-button is usually located under the driver's side panel, and it must be pressed within 15 seconds of opening the door. The push-button may also be installed underneath the kick panel.3) Press the valet push button once again and wait to hear a chirping or a honking sound. If you do not hear either of these sounds, your vehicle might have a jumper installed that has turned the valet programming feature off. Refer to your vehicle's instructional manual to learn how to set the valet programming feature to the "On" position. Keep holding the valet button pressed as you continue onto the next step.4) Push the button on the remote that you wish to assign to a particular valet channel. Press the button on the hand-held valet remote that you wish to assign to a particular valet channel. If you wish to program multiple remotes, repeat this step for each of them. If you program four or more remotes, the old programming will be erased.5) Let go of the valet push-button and exit your vehicle. Your handheld remote is now ready to use.Tips & Warnings- Some valet remote channels require different programming individually, so refer to the owner's manual or to the link provided in the "Resources" section of this article, for specific instructions.- Valet remote programming methods may vary, depending on the vehicle's make and model.

Wiring for ford f150

Nor sure what the question is. You want a wiring diagram for a ford f150? If this the case you going to have a problem. Best solution I can give you is either a Haynes or chilton repair manual specific to your ford year. You can also go the dealer and request that they order you a technicians repair manual but these are expensive , it will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about your vehicle though. If you are asking for a wiring diagram to install a remote starter of some sort, I would seriously suggest you take it to someplace that does this all the time and let them do it. While the do-it yourselves people could do it, it will be an all day project verses the two - three hours it will take at a reputable place. Hope this helps

How do i program a new remote to my car

You don't, You have to take it in to someplace that installs them. Remote and system need to be matched up. And the programmer for the system is more then you will want to spend and more then the cost of having somebody program it for you.
