You will need to download the latest drivers on to your pc, Then turn on player, then plug into pc via usb, then try opening with media player and sync devices
or
go to start menu, my computer and see if the drive file shows up there
Do make sure the latest driver is downloaded.
After formatting my sansa view 8gb player videos
hi mr. kumar,
you may have accidentially removed parts of the driver's firmware:
to replace it refer to procedure as described here:
http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=view&message.id=9626
the page holds a source to downlad the firmware.
good luck
Usb is not recognizing sansa
try going to "my computer" on your desktop and it should show an unkown device thats plugged into one of your drives
I have to giggle the cord to get sound out of both
No. Unfortunately, only the manufacturer would be able to repair your player. And most companies simply replace mp3 players instead of trying to repair them. The exception are players that have actual hard drives inside such as iPods that are 20gb or more. Most mp3 and mp4 players have flash memory (no moving parts inside) and it's actually cheaper for the manufacturer to replace units that are in warranty rather than stocking replacement parts for every model they sell.

I have a Sansa View i beleive and..............
Plug the view into the computer via usb and find where your music files from frostwire are downloaded to (most likely your Shared folder) and copy or drag the destined files to your Views Music folder and then unplug when your view is done transferring and all the songs you placed in the folder should show up.
Sansa View - reconnects over and over
Unfortunately, the two things you already tried are the only troubleshooting options available. There is either a loose connection inside the player or possibly you have a bad USB cable. If the cable is fine, the unit needs to be repaired/exchanged through the manufacturer.

Card reader
It may just be your card. Is the protection switch on the card set? You can always try to update the drivers for the reader.
