I am getting an error

HI. The term"LOC" will be an indication of the "Child Locking" feature that has been activated either by mistake or intentionally. This is a safety feature to prevent unwanted starts when children are present.

To unlock the controls, press "Options and Select" at the same time and hold for 10 seconds until ”LOC” is no longer displayed.

* NOTE_ If the release procedure doesn't unlock the unit and the letters LOC continue to appear, this will be a strong indication of a severe fault within the main control board. try to power cycle the unit if this is the case. if the power cycling doesn't produce good results, replace the main control board assembly.

Stops working with code e68

The error code means a key is stuck; enter the service diagnostic mode and perform the key test to determine which key is stuck. Once the key is determined, try to unstuck it; replace the electronic control board (part number 134557201) if the error code continues to appear after the button is unstuck.

Press and hold simultaneously the Select and Cancel buttons for six seconds to reset the control then immediately after the buzzer sounds, turn the cycle selector knob 5 clicks counterclockwise to position the cycle indicator light second (Touch Up) from the bottom.

Press and hold the Options and Cancel button simultaneously for two seconds to enter the service diagnostic mode. The buzzer will sound three times and all of the LEDs will flash indicating the service diagnostic mode has been entered successfully.

Rotate the cycle selector knob 4 clicks to the Heavy Duty cycle; the motor runs with the heater off. The buttons can now be tested. Press each button and all corresponding LEDs should flash; otherwise the button is stuck or a faulty. Unstuck the key and perform the key test again; replace the control board if the problem is not resolved.

Access to the control board requires the removal of the top panel and the console. Disconnect power to the dryer prior to servicing to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Remove the two screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the dryer then slide the panel rearward and lift it off the dryer.

Remove the four screws, two on each side, securing the console to the front panel then flip the console forward. Disconnect the wires from the control board and lift the console off.

Remove the five screws mounting the control board to the console and lift the control off. Remove the control board's rear cover by releasing the two locking tabs the flip the cover off the control board. Try to unstuck the faulty key and reassemble the dryer in reverse of the disassembly steps

Makes a humming nose when you press start

Hi,

Gas Dryers may produce buzz when the solenoid opens. The valve clicks at the start of the heat cycle, start of ignition and when the burner turns off. The flame makes a low roaring sound.

Make sure nothing is loose inside the drum. Check all exposed screws, and make sure they are tight.

Make sure dryer is level on the floor, and that nothing is leaning against the dryer.

Check for foreign objects in the drum. (Coins, buttons and zippers will make a rattling sound as they roll around in the drum)

Good Luck and have a nice day
Rating the solution is highly appreciated

We have a frigidaire , Gas dryer. Our clothes come

Hi, If you don't clean out the lint trap frequently, your dryer may have small lint fires inside the cabinet. The smell from these fires can leave a strong odor in the clothes drum.
Here's what to do:
  • First, clean all of the lint from the inside cabinet and ductwork of your dryer.
  • Have a qualified appliance repair technician inspect the dryer for damage caused by any lint fire.
  • Move all containers of flammable liquids at least 50 feet away from the dryer. Gas dryers have a large flame when operating properly and can ignite the fumes of any flammable liquid or gas.
  • Then, try to clear the odor, by running a couple of loads of old rags or towels.

How remove front panel of frig gas dryer

Hello there:
Here is how to disasseble the dryer
White/Westinghouse - Frigidaire style dryers- How to take apart....

White/Westinghouse, Frigidaire style dryers ( some 417.######## Kenmore dryers ) - How to take apart:
Disconnect power first In order to test and effect repairs on any product, you must be able to disassemble and reassemble the appliance. So lets start with disassembly on this dryer. Unplug the dryer. Get the top up by pushing in on 2 clips on either side as shown in this picture. We need to remove the front of the dryer next. There are 2 or 4 screws inside at the top on most of the older dryers that we need to remove. Once the screws are removed, you can pull forward on the front and lift the complete front off the 2 clips on the bottom of the dryer. Unplug the door switch wires and set the front aside.

if you need to further dissassemble it follow the next steps
Next step in disassembly is to remove the belt from the idler and the motor pulley. This is done at the rear of the dryer. Remove the 2 screws holding the inspection plate on the left rear of the dryer. Remove the plate. Look carefully at how the belt threads around the motor pulley and idler pulley so you can replace it. Remove the belt from the motor pulley. Return to the front of the dryer, grasp the belt in one hand and the front of the drum in the other hand. Lift up on the rear of the drum and pull forward with the other hand. There is a ball on the rear of the drum that rides in a socket located in the center of the back of the dryer. You are lifting the knob up and out of the socket. Look in the center of this picture for the socket. You have taken the dryer far enough apart at this point so that you can accomplish any repairs needed on this style dryer. It is not necessary to go this far for all repairs, but if you need to disassemble, you have the information.

Hi

If blower motor runs but the dryer doesn't turn on and when you reset it, it turns itself ON. Its a fault with the control module of the Dryer and that is why it is required to change the control module on your dryer to permanently resolve this issue.

Thanks for using FixYa.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Re: Frigidaire Dryer FEQ332CES0, Heating Element Connection

If the terminal is 5/16 it needs to be 5/16. The reason is that it passes the correct resistance. The smaller the contact, the more resistance and heat. You may be okay with a 5/16 connector in 250'F and that is probably the best option. However, I would image that any local wholesale electrical wholesaler would carry them. https://www.google.com/search?q=5%2F16+high+temperature+spade+terminal Nedco and CES are my go-to wholesalers https://www.google.com/search?q=electrical+wholesaler+near+me ..
