your samsung Gravity 2 wont read the HC format, there is not much you can do sorry. the SD HC is a newer format for devices in the last year or so. Older devices will not accept the HC format cards. I did the same thing! And im in the business, easy mistake. Keep it around though you'll use it soon, just not in your Samsung.

Hi sir =)
Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
2
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
3
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
4
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
5
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
6
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

4gb sd card not format problam format uncomplet
I'm assuming you are having a problem formatting the memory card?
The soultion would be to connect it to a PC or laptop that has a card reader installed, then format the card via Windows.
If it is a micro SD card, you may need an adapter to convert it to a SD card.
Thanks,
I have a panasonic lumix tz7, my 16gb memory card
Hi,
If the memory card is not corrupted or permanently damaged, the images can be retrieved by copying the images from the memory card to a computer using a memory card reader.
Use your computer's built-in memory card reader, if it has one, or you can purchase an external memory card reader/writer. (See attached image)
To do this, kindly remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into the memory card reader. Now, the memory card will be shown as a
Removable disk in "
My Computer". You can browse the images and copy the images to your computer.
Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using
FixYa.
I insert my 4GB micro sd chip and click the F
Do not click the F: drive; right-click its icon and choose Tools, Repair/Checkdisk. See if that does the trick.
If it doesn't, you can try booting your PC with a Linux distribution such as UBCD and run tests from there. It is possible that the SDHC card is physically damaged, and UBCD's errors are more informative than a mere "window freezing".
