Keyboard fubar - need to replace.

Hallo, The 3rd led it is light when pressed Scroll Lock key on keyboard, now it is not more used but in Windows and programs but it is still constructed on keyboard as a standard. On construction this key was used in correlation with Ctrl key -system properties, and also when it is press the arrows works a page-up or page-down. But now it is more common to use the wheel from mouse to scroll down or up a page. ;-)

If pressing keys does not wake it up and the power button on your PC is blinking, press the power button.

Hi, these instructions will help you, first, click on the "Start" button, in the "Start Search Window, Type: keyboard; the "Keyboard's" Properties window will open. You can (Test) to see exactly how your keyboard is responding. if you are still having the same problem, (check the Keyboard Status), try "Updating the Drivers," by clicking on the "Properties" button. Now in the event that neither of these solutions solve the problem, which I hope you shouldn't have to do anymore; try "Uninstalling the Keyboard. To "Uninstall the "keyboard," do the following. Shut-down (turn- off completely), disconnect all the Keyboard Devices that are attached to the computer. Next, turn-on the computer, and go back to the "Keyboard Properties," this time click on the "Change Settings" button, next click on the "Driver" button, and select the "Uninstall" button. Once that is finished, shut-down the computer again. Now you want to "Reconnect" all the devices that were connected before, and "Turn-on" the computer. You will repeat exactly what you did from the start, this will "Reinstall the Keyboard. Restart the computer again after all changes have been made; this will ensure the changes take place properly. "Rating the solution will let me know if it worked, or you may need further assistance, thanks."

press window key + R type devmgmt.msc see if your keyboard and mouse drivers are working properly or not if you find yellow warning sign it means ur drivers has become corrupt and now its time to reinstall ur drivers :-)

Check and install drivers for your multimedia keyboard which is came along with the Keyboard. Also check whether the USB drivers has been installed properly and check the status of the same.

Revert back for more assistance. Also give your valuabale feedback/rating on the same.

It should come out of it when you hit any key on the keyboard, or if this doesn't work, when you momentarily click the power button on the computer.

Check in your internal devices like hard drive.

You may want to remove the keyboard and reboot your unit without the keyboard connected.
After the unit restarts, plug in the k/b and allow your operating system to reload it required drivers.
Also, if you have the original driver installation disk, it would be helpful to load your k/b from the install disk.

Try to plug it in different usb port, could be that port is bad. or it seems there is no good contacts between the keyboard and the port.

Dynex is a cheapo brand that usually can be found at Bestbuy. I would not recommend the dynex products at all. You could be getting interference from cell phones, your monitor, a microwave oven, etc.. I have a couple wireless mouse and keyboard sets I got at radioshack that work very well. They only cost me about 20$ and are the Labtec brand.

If you want something a lot better go for logitech products, they are a bit more pricey though.
