I have a mx3200 cordless

got this off the logitech forum, The only instructions that I can find (which came with my relatively new pc) are on a large "Installation Guide," the most pertinent information from which is about setting the time and date: "To enter time/date setting format on the keyboard LCD, press the FN key and F10 key simultaneously." Also "LCD: Mode (F9): switch mode from Time/Date to Alarm to Timer to Character Count. Set (F10): press to set Time/Date, Alarm and Timer. Change batteries one by one to keep LCD settings. Remove the 4 keyboard batteries to reset Character Count to "o." Bell (f11): put Alarm On or Off. START/STOP (F12): start 01 pause Timer." The Logitech program group (should be on your Start menu) will give you further information for identifying keys, and for formatting the keyboard and mouse. Good luck.

I can't get my keboard

Hi. Try the troubleshooting on the following page:

http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9068/section/troubleshoot/crid/433/lt_product_id/140/tabs/1,3,2,5/cl/us,en/kw/

If this does not fix it, you may be able to get the remote replaced by Logitech, so I would try giving them a call.

Regards,

How to disable the annoying

If you have downloaded the Setpoint software ( http://www.logitech.com/584/3131 ) then from there you can find a configuration for the mouse and or keyboard. The little icon is in your tray near your clock. From there you can re-configure all the buttons.

Keyboard sticking

Clean the keyboard. Most of the keys can be safely "popped" out using a nail file or other thin lever. Don't pop out the larger keys, like the space bar, because they have a small wire spring in most models that can make them difficult to reinsert properly. Use canned air, a Swiffer, q-tips, or other methods (nothing wet, but a damp cloth that doesn't drip is OK) to get the obstructions cleaned away and then put your keys back.

Does not print screen

PrtScr does not make the screen print out on your printer.
It only copies the screen to your clipboard.

Press CTRL+PrtScr to copy entire screen to clipboard
Press ALT+PrtScr to copy active window to clipboard
Press CTRL+V to paste the contents of your clipboard into a document or image
Then you can print the document or image to your printer.

I hope this helps.

Lost and cannot regain connection between keyboard

If the mouse is still working and only the keyboard is having a problem, then there's no problem with the transmitter.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Try to replace the batteries with fresh ones.
2. Briefly press the connect button on the receiver (if there is), and then press the connect button on the keyboard for 5 seconds.

If same problem occur, hold down both connect buttons (on the transmitter and on the keyboard) at the same time for 5 seconds, then release it.

If nothing happens, then you need to send the keyboard and transmitter to the manufacturer for repair. There's a hardware defect on the keyboard.

Thank you and good luck!

Coffee with milk spilled onto my cordless keyboard

Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.

I have "killed" so many keyboards this way.

If water was spilled there would be some hope but coffee, tea, milk, soda, etc. have sugar which leaks into the chip board and causes static or as you are experiencing "sticking" of the keys.

I can recommend one trick I haven't tried myself but heard it works really well. Placing the keyboard in the dishwasher. I know this sounds strange but it has worked for many. Here are the instructions if you would like to give it a try.

This method, I have never tried, as I do not have a dishwasher. I usually jump on eBay and immediately purchase me a new one for under $30.00. Gives me a chance to upgrade every so often.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you have any questions.
