Camera & sd card got wet

There's no chance of you messing up the memory card further. Once the memory card dried up, you should be able to use an external card reader to look at the pics on it. This type of memory is less susceptible to corruption and therefore it can take a lot more punishment.

Good luck!

SanDisk Memory Card~Unrecognized file format

  1. 1 Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  2. 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  3. 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  4. 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  5. 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  6. 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

if you have a USB cable for your camera, you might try to synch the computer with the camera and transfer your pictures that way.

After you have your pictures on the computer, then you can obey your computer's wishes to format the card.

I cannot delete images off my sd card.

Most likely, there is a switch on the side of the card. Flip it over from where it is now and then you should be good to go. If that doesn't work, select the file you are trying to delete and right click and go to properties, then unselect read only in the lower area of the window.

    Memory card not formating

first check to see that it is not write protected (flip the switch on the side). if you cannot read from it and it still will not format, then it has probably been exposed to a static charge and is dead.

My SanDisk memory card for my HP Photosmart R740

The card may have failed on you or the write protect slide over enough to lock the card. Take the card out and looking at the label to the left is a notch on the side. In the notch will be a tiny button or slide. Move it to the top (away from the gold connectors) to unlock. If you still cannot delete you may have a dud card. You can try to reformat on a different computer or with a different operating system. For example windows won't work but Mac or Linux might work.

    Lost my memory card Password

You could try and send it to a data recovery center, but I think the only thing that can be done is to reset the memory card (the data is deleted by doing this). I have the device to do it, but as I told you before, it also deletes any data.
