Seal around door is not
Is this unit new? Is it new to you? Has this problem just developed? I need the history to help you. If it is new, you have a year warranty. All units built today are as air tight as possible. When one door is opened and closed. The other door can pop open. To alleviate this issue the unit's front levelers must be adjusted to tilt the unit back slightly. The door or doors might still pop open but will close by themselves. If I can help you futher, let me know.
Continual water dripping into fridge from
your drain from inside the freezer is clogged. every time the fridge goes on defrost, there is no where for the water to go, so it goes into fresh food section thru the air duct.
Empty out the freezer, remove back panel. you should now see the evaporator. Directly below the evaporator will me a thin metal sheet with a hole in the middle. Remove metal sheet. You may have to use a screw driver and break up some of the ice so you can remove it. After removing, you should now see a small hole. Thats the drain hole. You can boil some water to pour into the hole, so you can met the ice and hopefully remove whatever is clogging it. You can even take a wire hanger and insert it in the hole to free up the drain.
Hopefully this solves your problem.
Noticed the ice maker quit working a day or two
you need to plug it back in and see if the compressor is running on unit... listen to it for about ten minutes or so do you here any clicking sounds coming fronm the rear if so this will be a a bad relay on compressor or something to do with the compressor... if you remove back cover you will see the compressor on the bottom of the unit and can pit your hand on it to fill if it is running..while back there make sure the fan in the bottom is running next to compressor... if all that looks good the unit is probley going to work like a champ for a few days ...do you recall any frost on the back wall of freezer back wall... if so then you may have a defrost problem either the heater has failed, the evaporator fan located behind the inside back wall cover has failed. a thermostat has failed or the actually defrost control... let it run and see if the inside fan is running also.. you will have to remove back wall to check the heater using a volt meter and set it on ohms to check the heater for continuity... repost with anymore questions...
Metallic or medicinal odor from fridge
Sounds like the smell of fruit that has gone bad. There is no odor per se that a refrigerator or freezer "manufactures".......Freon is sealed and is odorless--that's the only kind of fluid/chemical that a fridge condensor circulates. Look for some food that has gone "south" first.
Ice cubes are not solid. Only have ice cube maker.
By not solid I assume you mean they are hollow. This is an indication of not enough water during the fill cycle. Causes are low water pressure, a restricted fill line or partially iced fill tube or fill valve that is plugged up with mineral deposits. The saddle valve connected to the main water line should be opened and closed at least once yearly to clear deposits and insure it will be operable in a time of need.

My fridge is not keeping anything cool. Its on but
you have a deforst problem either the fan in freezer or tstat or heater is not working properly take off the back panel on the inside of the freezer and unplug the machine first and u should see ice build up. after you dfrost the ice with a hairdryer, that you will in my opinion see then plug the machine back in to see if the fan is working if it is it will spin around blowing the air if not replace it if it is then next you would have to do continuity test on tstat and heater make sure you unplug the machine before you do these tests.please remember to rank how this post has helped your appliance situation and if i can answer anything further message me back have a great day

I have a 15 cubic feet whirlpool top mount
The problem is the drain is clogged. Remove the back panel in your freezer and at the bottom of the evaporator coil you will see a hole about ½” in diameter this is the drain tube. You might need to use some warm water to melt the ice and then run a wire being very careful not to puncture the hose and run it down the tube to free up the drain. This tube travel down to the bottom of your refrigerator to a pan sometimes located on top of the compressor or somewhere else down there. It collects the water there to evaporate. You can enter your model # at www.appliancehelponline.com for a diagram or illustration of your refrigerator. Not all models are available. This link will help removing the back panel http://appliancehelponline.com/refertopevapfan.html
Model ET8FTE*V*O* Dampness in the freezer compartment.
the frost free system works by blowing dry air into the cavity, replacing the damp air, some of which has turned to frost on the shiney plastic packaging, when freezing.
it is not unusual, at all, in humid areas it is bad enough to warrant a drip tray.
PLEASE turn off any electric item before sticking your fingers in the holes........
