My less-than-a-year-old Hannspree monitor stopped
Try this... Unplug the monitor from every connection its connected to, including the power.- Press and hold the power button on the monitor for a minute.. - Connect it back to a different PC with a different cable firmly. It should work.
"Input signal out of range"
usually points to the resolution settings of the graphics card not matching the monitor resolution settings. Reboot to safe mode on the computer and set the resolution to a lower one. A good starting point would be 1280 x 960 at high res. See if that works
I have lost my speakers
Sounds like you've lost audio output from the sound card. Unplug the audio cable from the sound card and plug in a set of ear buds or headphones. If you don't get any sound your driver's not working. Try reinstalling the old driver.
Just connected a HF 225
They only include the Win7 driver on the CD. I'm surprised it doesn't work with Vista. Did you try going into the HF225_win7 directory and clicking on infinstallWIN7?
The monitor menu doesn't work with the keyboard. You have to press a combination of the three buttons to the left of the on-off button. It's not very intuitive.
We can't get back to
Try turning the TV to channel 3 or 4. I know that is how ours needs to be set for the cable to work.
I have a 22" Hanns
Right click on the desktop, go to properties. Click on the settings tab, change your resolution settings, try a very high resolution and see if that fixes the problem. Your monitor may have an auto adjust button as well that you can try. If that is not the issue, then you may need to get the mechanical issue repaired.
Just connected Hannspree 225 and
Ensure the driver is supported by your operating system. If not then the manufacturers website should have the driver available as a download.
I cannot get good resolution
The resolution you should be getting is 1680x1050. Under Windows 7, right click on your desktop then open 'Screen Resolution'. If the resolution is set to anything other than 1680x1050, set it to that. If that setting is not available then it is possible that your video card does not support that resolution. This would only effect old computers. If the resolution is set to 1680x1050 but you don't have the proper resolution onscreen, try adjusting the monitor settings using the buttons on the bottom of your monitor. Hope this help and have a nice day!
HANNSPREE HSB 1115. TV. SHOWS RC. PULSES ARE
Of course you first tried replacing batteries in the remote? If so, take the remote to a TV repair shop and have them test that it's sending a signal. If it is working you'll have to open the unit and hook an o-scope (a good sensitive voltmeter may also be sufficient) to the IR receiver and see if you're receiving the signal. If that works there should be a signal line to send the command to the micro. This is usually the same line the keypad uses. Test individual components according to your results or simply repace the IR board if you're missing that signal. If you don't want to test anything you can just try replacing that board anyway. Good luck.
