MFT is corrupt. The only way to fix that is to format the card.

Your computer will ask to format the card for two reasons.

• The card is new and needs a file system the computer understands
• The MFT on the card is corrupt and you will need to format the card to make it usable. Formatting the card WILL erase the data. It is the only way to fix the problem though.

its not the adaptor its the card hence it gives you the error means it can access it. is the card working 100% when you plug it back to the phone?
