To find your correct model, go to settings, about phone,.phone identity, then look under model number. For example, I have a Desire Z with Bell in Canada. My model number is an HTC-A7275. Hope this helps.

Remove the battery and there should be a label underneath it with your model number details listed.

Do a hard reset. Press and hold volume down and center button and then press the red reset button behind the stylus. Cntinue holding the volume down and center button until the screen apperas with some message. Press vol up key now and let the device reset to the original factory settings..
