How do i delete all my contacts from my address and sim card? Also, i need to send a message to multi people but had to add a contact for each person instead of giving the option for multi contacts. How can this be done? Is there some freeware for this at&t 8310 phone to complete options?
This is done in desktop manager. You have to hook your BB up to your Desktop and then go through the backup and restore process. If you need help we can show you.

BLACKBERRY HAS THIS PROBLEM JVM ERROR 513 HOW CAN I FIX IT
JVM 513 indicates all data and application on the device have been deleted. To restore, you need to reinstall the Blackberry handheld software and restore the data from the backup file if you have it on your computer. To reload the software, you will have to connect the device to the computer and run Blackberry desktop manager and then application loader. In case you do not have thse software on your computer, check with your service provider and they will have the software available for free download on their website.

for free
take out your sim card and or media card and enter the password wrong. It usually has about 10 tries. After the final time, it clears any personal data on the phone for security reasons(thats why you take out your cards) Then when it is done reloading, you can change your password...make it something easy. Then go into your security options and disable the security lock. Then you can put your cards back in. Good luck.

reset
From the Home Screen you go to Options-Security Options-General Settings and then you press the Blackberry button, to the left of the Trackball, and choose wipe handheld, when the process is complete your phone will be reset to factory conditions.

My blackberry 8310 is frozen the ball moves but it wont select anything. None of the other keys work either.
You phone could just need a simple reset if the problem is based upon the software.
To do that click the link below to download the Blackberry Desktop Manager and the Blackberry Device Software for your Curve and run the app loader to reset your device

Same problem - phone doesn't ring, cannot hear speakerphone, media does not have any sound when playing on phone. Ear speaker works fine, microphone is fine, bluetooth works fine. I just can't hear the ringer or the speaker!
Guys- I have had the same problem with my speaker not working and it comes down to the spacing inside the phone. Some people have resolved the problem by placing a small piece of paper or credit card between the phone or the battery back. I actually took the back cover off, the battery off, and then unscrewed the 6 tiny screws to take the back of the phone off. You'll then see two small pins that act as spacers to keep the phone back off of the speaker and you can gently bend them upward a bit more and this totally worked for me. I noticed after I was using a leather pouch to hold the phone, the only way to take it out was the pinch the phone on that area, and was thus "smooshing" these pins down and not giving the speaker the appropriate spacing. You'll void your warranty by doing so - but you should be able to fix the problem.
