Maytag 30" Built-In Single Electric Wall Oven - Black Questions & Answers
The bottom element blew out on my Maytag electric
without knowing the model I'm going to give you the most probable issue.
The wires that connect to the element plug in have become brittle and bad there's no more connection.. they need to be repaired.
I'm sure you know this but....shut off power to the unit while working on it.
best to you.
When oven reaches a temp of 350 it flashes F3
Hello. I need the model number of your unit to help you accurately with exploded parts diagrams and part numbers. From what you describe, it sounds like you have a defective oven temperature sensor. There are only 2 things that govern temp in a range--the EOC(main oven control board) and the temperature sensor. It's connected to the main board by a 2-wire harness. Usually, there is a connector at the end of the short pigtail coming from the sensor. The contacts in the sensor can oxidize, breaking electrical connection or, the signal can be lost due to a broken wire, loose connection, etc. Most often, the sensors will have an electrical resistance of approximately 1100 Ohms +/- 10%. Usually, if the sensor checks good, the main board is the culprit. Hope I helped you!
Oven will not ignite
Unplug the stove, then take the wires off the heating element. Using an ohm meter check for continuity across the two pins. If none replace element. If there is, then he contactor in the unit is probably bad.
My Maytag Performa oven and stove top will not
When I turn on my Maytag performa using the "bake" function, everything looks ok on the display, however the temp. never rises above 100. I've tried "bake" and "convect", and neither one work. "Clean" doesn't work either. The oven will lock, and display shows that it's heating up, but temp. never rises.
However....."broil" feature works just fine.
Please help.
Some numbers on panel does not work
I have the same problem. I can't see how maytag can say there are no quality issues since they don't track how many calls they get about the same problem.
Control panel
The error code shown on the display is"Sab", not "5ab".To disable the Sabbath mode push and hold the Clock pad for 3 seconds.
Oven heats & then beeps code F2EO then stops heating
F2 - E0 Shorted keypad (also called touch pad) 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).
Here is that part to order.
