Unfortunately your PS3 is a closed system, your cannot change much about the internal workings of the system. I suggest investing in a first-party controller, not only are they made far better with much nicer materials, they will play all of your games, including God of War 3.
You are having a controller board problem I would suggest getting it repaired or replaced or you can take it apart and make sure everything is in working order such as no burnt buttons or melted solder.
To turn off the Pelican Sabrelite 2000 flashlight, you will need to locate the switch or button on the flashlight that controls the power.
On most models of the Pelican Sabrelite 2000, the power switch is located on the tail cap of the flashlight, near the base. To turn off the flashlight, you will need to press and hold the power switch for a few seconds until the light turns off.
If you are unable to locate the power switch or if the flashlight is not turning off as expected, you may need to refer to the owner's manual for your specific model of Pelican Sabrelite 2000. If you are unable to find the owner's manual or if you are still having trouble turning off the flashlight, you may need to seek further assistance from the manufacturer or a technical support professional. They will be able to provide you with more information on how to operate your specific model of Pelican Sabrelite 2000.

could be that the adapter is a 3rd party adapter and that would be it doesn't pass the qualtiy that Sony requires before it puts its stamp of approval on the item which means your taking a chance on the item working.
See if you can find an item that is approved by sony and then try that.

Whether or not you can connect a USB gamepad to your TV depends on the specific model of your TV and the type of gamepad you have.
Many modern TVs have USB ports that you can use to connect various devices, including gamepads. If your TV has a USB port and supports input from gamepads, you should be able to connect your USB gamepad to your TV and use it to play games or navigate menus.
To connect your USB gamepad to your TV, you will need to plug the USB cable into the USB port on your TV. You may also need to adjust some settings on your TV to enable gamepad input or to map the buttons on your gamepad to the appropriate functions on your TV.
It's important to note that not all TVs support gamepad input, so it's a good idea to check the documentation or manufacturer's website for your TV to see if it supports this feature. Additionally, some gamepads may not be compatible with certain TVs or may require additional software or drivers to work properly.
