Possibly a bad circuit board for the digital read out, when you start cycle the connections on the board are room temp. after progressing thru cycle for a period of time the connections warm up and cause circuit failure for the lighted read out. However all the other functions of operation are not affected. A quick look at the board itself would most likely indicate a problem by charred or discolored solder connections.

could be a limit switch or the dryer element is bad.

replace the blower belt and it will blow air from the dryer

remove the back,, the fan is located on the rear of the motor shaft and has reverse threads, either it is a slip on one with a clamp that has come off, or its running and you just can't tell, either way you may want to check it,, as always ,, be very careful as you do this,, don't touch anything that is connected to electrical

It is your motor getting hot. Try running a empty load first, then do a load. That will telling your motor is getting hot.

Unplug the machine for about 5 minutes then plug back in to reset control. If still no display, replace control.

Hi you can call maytag and they will send someone out to look at it free of charge, it probably either needs leveled or they didnt remove shipping bolts. Usually brand new washer wont be broke 9 times out 10.

i would say there is a restriction in the vent tube, disconnect and let it run and see if it works better.

did you call the factory,if it's under a year it should still be under warranty,you shouldn't have to pay a thing,i would have a problem with that too.

If the machine turn on and appears to heat properly, It usually happen when the belt breaks or gets out of the pulley. A more serious issue may be the motor broken.

I'm sure you have tried these to reduce suds, if you see suds, your clothes will not clean properly, seriously.

Use HALF of HE liquid detergent
Use HALF of the bleach
Use Half of the softener.
Never use powders
Leave the door open when the machine is idle.

I almost went out of business because of no work until front loaders came into vogue.

Now I do 6 calls a day; 7 days a week. Just my opinions here!

Mostly likely the cause was the skid pads came off or were missed aligned. You could have also jarred the drum but it doesnt matter because you want it fixed. So take off the front of the dryer after calling your local maytag dealer and making sure they have the felt, skid pads, belt, and rear rollers (just in case you find more problems).

Once you have this apart make sure you clean it good, take out the lint catcher and vacume all of the lint. No reason to put back together a nasty dirty dryer. Make sure you check the rear felt carefully and the rollers. This is a very simple job and shouldnt take more than about an hour. Make sure you take the door off first then the front panel and you have someone to help hold your tools while you think. Have fun

Manual says it could be a number of things, and you should have a copy of the manual since you've only had the dryer 3-4 months. If not, go to the Maytag website and download.

Some things to check -

1) Press Start/Cancel if dryer was stopped in a middle of the operating cycle.
2) Check that one of the two breakers has not tripped or fuses blown (if an electric dryer) in your breaker panel.

Maytag Bravos 400 Series Dryer purchased August 2009 - November 2009 required repair as I also experience the timer readjusting itself to excessive extended drying time when clothing was bone dry and hot. Sometimes extended to 1 hour 40 minutes! Serviceman stated problem was the Sensors in the dryer. Part number 8577274 Thermister and "Old Ohmed out open" whatever that means as listed on my repair ticket. Have not had that particular problem since. Make sure your dryer vents from dryer to outside are clean and clear of lint. Will help immensely. I have many other issues with this dryer it has been down FOUR times in 9 months. Fighting with Maytag to replace this lemon!

you will have to adjust the catch to line up and secure it ,

heres the aprt number for the "catch" , if you have a problem removing it i would simply push it into the door, it will fall to teh bottom , no need to worry about ti wont hurt nothin.. its meant to grab and snap into place as you push it into place, whichis why itdoesnt wnat to pull back out the same way W10111905
