A sensor is saying ". . .airflow is blocked. . " Blockage could be the air filter or trap or ducts within the dryer or the 4" flex duct attached to the back. First, remove the 4" duct and see if there is good air flow with dryer running. If so, ream the duct all the way to the outside. If not, disassemble dryer to get to internal rigid ducting and blower. Also, make sure the blower wheel is not broken and can rotate freely.

I have the same dryer. My control panel went dead today too. Light in drum works just fine. Nothing working at all on the control panel.

You will have to remove the back panel to access this part. Be sure that you unplug the machine before starting. Once the back panel has been taken off and placed aside the thermal switch will be located on the left lower side near the blower housing . It will be thin and long and located near the cycling thermostat that has for prongs on it. On certain machines, the thermal fuse is located in the front. To access this you must remove the kickplate, which can be done by pushing the clips, one on each side jsut above the top of the kickplate, in between the top and abottom portion. The part numbers are the same for either style dryer. To test this part you can either take the wires off it and tie them together then plug the machine back in and see if it heats, or you can use amultimeter and check to see if there is continuity, if there is its good, if not, bad. The thermal fuse will usually be white, and if located in the back, be thin and long with two wires on it, left and right. Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.The belt for the blower came off and most likely the pulley.If the pulley came off put locktite on it before installing the pulley to prevent it from happening again.

Taking too long can be very difficult to troubleshoot because term is quite relative. A load of bed linens will dry much quicker than a load of jeans.

Check your dryer vent (usually outside) to see if a bird or critter has made a home. Then check your vent hose. Same thing, look for buildup of lint here. Check your filter as well. See if there has been any lint that has built up and fallen off the filter (look down in tube, holder, etc).

Since dryers use room air to circulate with, and then expel it outdoors, also make sure that there is adequate air flow to the dryer. Open a window in same room, if you can. If it improves, then your house is sealed up tight (and that's the problem).

The 'glow thing' is called a Thermocouple and is a safety device that makes sure that there is a flame before the main gas valve to the burners opens up. what is the model number? free standing pilots have been gone for several years. Google your model number and include parts. This will give you sites that sell parts. You most likely have and hot surface ignitor.
