My whirlpool oven locke with F5 E1 what to do
The E1- F5 error is a door lock error. The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused. You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps. If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display. This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control. Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference. Thanks
Oven will not heat
the bake element has failed. they can be had for around 20 dollars. Unplug unit before
replacing the element. Usually will only need 1/4 inch nut driver to remove two
screws inside oven and slide out element and unplug the spade connectors.
The model and serial should be located behind the lower drawer on the left side.
An appliance parts store should carry this in stock since many models utilize the
same element. Hope this helps.
Tried to Auto Clean.
Hello,
The F5 error code means that the control board has detected a error within itself and the control board needs to be replaced. The F5 error code can be cleared by pushing the cancel/off button but if the error code returns the control board would indeed need to be replaced.
FYI when ordering the control board it also may be called the clock or eoc

Occasionally the oven stops reheating after it has
This is caused by a high limit thermostat on the left side of your oven. Please check the temperature in the oven to see if it is going to high at times. If it stays the same then you have a relay on oven control which is your clock that is sticking and you will need to replace the clock.Hope this helps
