My GE Profile oven is blinking locked and the oven

The problem is the control panel, it is malfunctioning, you will need to replace it. Turn power to the oven off at your home's circuit breaker box. Remove the three screws from the control panel with the crescent wrench. The control panel is on the outside of the oven, above the door handle. Pull the bottom of the control panel toward you, then lift it up. This action will release the control panel cover's tabs. Identify the malfunctioning part. The mechanism that operates the door latch during the self-cleaning cycle will be behind a smooth, square plate held in place with two screws. White, black and red wires, as well as a grounding wire, will be protruding from the face of the plate. These wires will be twisted together with other control panel wiring and covered with electrical wire caps.Remove the failed part by removing the caps and untwisting the wires. Using the crescent or an appropriate wrench, extract any screws holding the plate in place. The cylindrical-shaped mechanism will be attached to and behind this plate.
Visit a hardware store to acquire a replacement part. To reassemble, slide the new mechanism into where the old one was and reattach the plate with the screws. Reconnect the wires by twisting them together and replacing the electrical wire caps. Replace the control panel by slipping the top of the panel into its groove and angling the panel downward. With this, it should function properly.

These codes indicate an over temperature condition. The F2 & F3 error codes both mention the temp sensor. The temp sensor is mounted inside the oven cavity & regulates the oven set temperature. If the temp sensor fails the oven could overheat. This is what generates the error codes. I recommend having the temp sensor checked with an ohm meter, at room temperature the sensor should ohm out at approx 1100 ohms. If the sensor checks ok, then the control will need to be replaced.

Hi

Looking at this picture if you have already replaced part#16 which is the oven control then check the oven latch mechanism as if this part goes bad the control will sense that the door is not closed and so the fan won't run resulting in the oven not turning on. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Range top ignighters sparking

One of your "switches" to your burners is shorting causing unit to spark when in the off mode, or, you may have a bug problem, bugs have made their way into the spark module.

1: if no bug problem, disconnect stove from electricity, lift top up, remove all of the single connections to each switch to top burners(make sure they don't have any bare wires touching the frame), then plug unit back in, if still sparking then replace module.

GE Profile Range Oven. The bake button isn't working but all the other keys work on the keypad. I've replaced the control panel twice an still the same issue. What else could it be?

Question edited for clarity. The bake element failed? Test for continuity. If it has a fan, test that too. If it is electronic, check the thermistor temperature sensor. For suspected control panels or mainboards, I always suggest dealer service so you get the correct diagnosis and warranty on the parts and the job. They are also expensive. ..

How do I replace touchpad on a GE profile range JGS905BEK1BB? It shows an error code F7. I don't even know how to remove the Faceplate (item 18), thanks!

Most modern appliances like cookers and washing machines have the control panels and displays are fitted from behind the front panel, inside the machine. You will be better off getting a professional repairer to do it for you. *Remember* this is a Gas appliance that you're working on so BE CAREFUL. You might have to remove several other panels to get to the touch pad so if your going to do it yourself turn OFF the main gas supply first then make notes and take photos as you go.

In my GE Profile Range model PGB911 the electric igniters for the range burners will not stop arcing.

There is a stuck micro switch somewhere. The is one behind each burner knob. https://www.geappliances.com/appliance/GE-Profile-30-Free-Standing-Gas-Convection-Range-PGB911ZEJSS Oh no, Part 12, is discontinued and all the switches come as one harness. You may be able to clean and test them if you can get to them. If not, there is a replacement. Item has been replaced by WB18X27596 https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/ModelSectionParts/PGB911SEJ1SS/1/0/0/0/GAS_&_BURNER_PARTS ..

The display doesn't work on my ge model JBP21GS1WH, however the burners work fine, is there a reset or something?

No reset found in the manual. You can try this and hope it works.. Turn off the circut Breaker to the stove for 5 minutes to see if it resets. Checking around the net I've only found "Item Discontinued"
  • The part is no longer sold by the manufacturer.
  • The manufacturer does not stock any substitute parts to replace this one and therefore, unfortunately, we cannot obtain or recommend a substitution for this part.
  • We cannot obtain the part through any other means.
Darn..
