What does it mean when
Hi, Turn off the machine and turn back on again. If both lights are permanently on that means you need to empty the dreg tray. Pull out the tray and wait until the red light start flashing, then put back the tray, the red light will go off.
Another meaning is when you press the coffee button and see the red light came on, that means the grinder motor is not working. Hope it will help.
Saeco Giro II Red Light stays on, even after
Had the same problem, if you used steam or hot water, make certain the steam knob on top is all the way back in the close position, if not the red exclamation sign will stay lit.
The coffee grounds lihgt and the descale light
Same problem here. I've googled and see that there are many people with the same problem but no clues about how to solve it:
My Saeco Odea Giro is flashing two lights alternatelly (Dregdrawer Light and Descaling Light). What's the problem and how can I solve it?
Red alarm flashing
The flashing indicator light means something needs to be refilled or emptied.
Why doesn't it turn on?
No power, broken wire, bad connection, blown fuse, bad heating element, bad switch, ad infinitum.
The coffee grounds lihgt and the descale light flash after I push the brew button on my seaco odea giro.
The sensor inside the water container has either mineral build-up (scale) or a bit of coffee grounds stuck to it.
- Run a cycle with a retail coffee maker "cleaner solution" to clean the water reservoir, or let vinegar soak inside 5+ hrs.
- In both cases, turn unit upside down and power wash reservoir 2X to dislodge deposits that have loosened during the soak.
- Make sure to run a few cycles of plain water thru coffee maker before making the next batch of coffee.
