7. Again Hexadecimal mode! Look all the way down of the list. Find the number of the last block!
8. Tools> Fill Sectors: Start sector: 0 End sector: That you've searched for Hex: 00 Click OK THIS MUST BE DONE, OTHERWISE IT WON'T WORK!!!!
9. Now again Tools> Copy Sectors By source, select file and open the file you've saved in the beginning. Destination: Start sector: 0 Click OK
10. You're done!! Plug the new HDD in you're Daewoo product and if followed the steps. It will give you the Daewoo boot up logo and immediately it will pop-up say: "Formatting Hard Disk"

Meanwhile your xbox electronics may have a limit on the size of space - so if the drive has 200 gigs of space on it and your unit will only recognize 32 gigs, then that is all it sees and can use. Spare PCBs aren't usually avaiable as such. Unless something simple like a polyfuse blew on the board, then the original is probably toast. Your next option would be to obtain an identical drive and perform a transplant. But it will have to be identical - possibly down to the software revision.: (You may still have problems as tables of bad blocks are maintained by the controller)

This has happened to me before, also. What I had done was copy a disc IMAGE from the old, smaller drive to the larger drive - and the larger one turned into the same size! You did not mention your operating system (Windows, Mac, etc) but my solution was in Windows to go to Disk Management function and view the unallocated space left. Sure enough, there was "unclaimed/unused" space for the entire difference in size. Following the instructions of the Disk Management tool, I just added the remaining space to what was C: drive. I could have just as easily created a different drive space with the leftover, it's up to you - but I find it preferable to have my space in one chunk. Note: This is a very sensitive area of Windows when you're dealing with file systems. A raw beginner might want to have an experienced friend help them through it, but if you follow instructions EXACTLY even a first-timer should be able to do it.
