Sony VAIO don't need special drivers. These have special receivers that ONLY work with intended models. hi there might be...first go to my computer, then locate the dvd drive, right click that and then properties, then click the hardware tab at top then in the list locate dvd drive then at bottom right click on properties then click dvd region and then you should be able to change it....hope that helped

You'll need a decoder from a program like cyber dvd or win dvd. Nero also has one and sonic too. If the drive came with a dvd player program install it. You can also find them through windows media player at microsoft's website but they will cost a few bucks. Search the internet for dvd player software you may find one for free. Hello there... Sony seems a choosy brand so it looks like your disc is not recognized by it. Check also your disc for scratches or you just need to clean your disc first before you can use it. Try it. If this doesn't help, try inserting your disc to other CD-ROM. See if your disc is okay. Hope this helps...
