Hi. I have a Belkin
Check for the wireless encryption settings associated with this. If you're trying to join a network with "Open" settings to a encrypted network it won't work very well.

Wireless printer
Call the tech people at the router company they will walk you through getting it set up properly. If it worked before the change over, then part of their job is making sure you are set up again with the new system.

Hotmail.com
Try plugging your computer directly into your connection (not using the wireless router) If you can access your hotmail then, it is a router problem and you need the geeks to come back.

- If you are loosing the signal when it is freezing it may be the auto channel setting on you router. it is looking for a better signal, you may need to change it from auto configure to a static channel (Choose a channel)
- You may need to update your firmware. You can do that at this link Firmware link just select you version (on the bottom of the router) and download the newest version.
- Call 18002belkin and its open 24 7 and ask them for the beta firmware for you router. This has been the fix for you problem. but you have to call to get it. It is not on the firmware site yet.
I hope this helps.

Setting up security for the wireless netword
All of the settings and information will be available on the manual, which can also be found here:
http://cache-www.belkin.com/support/dl/p74880-d_f5d9230-4_manual.pdf
You can login to the router by going to the address: http://192.168.2.1
If you are going to be using wireless connections, you should try enabling WPA. Or if you are not going to be using wireless connections, it's best to lock the network itself. Once again, you can find much more valuable information in the manual.

My beklin wireless g+mimo router will not work
The printer is usually discovered by the computer, not the other way round.
Use Windows explorer, networks to discover it.
1. Make sure file and printer sharing for networks is enabled on networking part of the control panel for Windows.
2. Make sure the appropriate protocol has been set up ie TCIP and that the printer has an IP address in the range recognised by the router.
3. Make sure the printer is in the same workgroup under windows.

if you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work?
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

We have a Belkin G+ router and receive a pretty
I'm afraid you can't boost the sgnal from the router without buying a repeater/booster box.
You will get the best wireless performance from your router if it is in the highest position possible in the house - of course it may be impractical to move it but, if you can, then do so.
The only other option is to purchase a booster. I don't know what country you are living in, so I can't give definitive advice. You should try a search on google or ebay for "wireless router booster"
Everything is possible!
If you want more advice please reply here with a comment and I will try to provide further assistance.

My G Mimo Plus adapter won't pull and IP address.
Is there a RESET button on the back of the router, if so power it up and press the RESET button until all the LEDs flash and reconfigure the router.
Try a different LAN cable, the other could be faulty
Install the latest LAN and wireless card drivers (this problem sometimes occurs when you install a new router).
Check the LAN and wireless cards are functioning correctly in Device Manager.
Open the DOS cmd window.
Test the NIC - loopback test address - ping 192.0.0.1
Ping the router's IP configuration address
Type ipconfig to see what IP address you get (if any)
Type inconfig /renew all - this will (should) get a new IP address from the router's DHCP
Let me know how things work out.

Are there new drivers for teh Wireless G Plus MIMO
From Belkin's Support web site:
Windows 7 Product Support Information
Windows 7 users:
If you are using an older Belkin Networking product, you may not have support for Windows 7 with your current software. Please visit your product specific support site to check for updated Windows 7-compatible software for your product.
Software updates will be posted as they become available. Please check back if your product is not currently supported.
Some updates may still be in the process of going through Microsoft’s official certification program. Although they have been thoroughly tested, they may present a warning message when the driver is being installed. These drivers will install on 32 bit operating systems but not on 64 bit systems, which is the normal and expected behavior.
