On many of the Viper models, the symptom you are describing is because the remote battery is low. The remote can't be too far from the vehicle. If it is, the system see it as you forgot about the vehicle being remote started, and shuts it back down. A weak battery creates a weak signal and makes the unit 'think' you are far away. The Viper website has instructions on how to disable the whole system, there are many different versions, so find the box and get the model number from it, you will need that to get any further.

It is possible that you need to reprogram the remote. 1st you need to enter the remote into programming... Hold the Function button until the remote gives a long beep and LED light comes on the remote a (it takes about 8 sec.) Then press and hold the remote start buttom until the remote beeps 3 times and LED lights up. Now your ready to program the remote One of the door has to be open . My remote for my viper car starter is beeping constantly all of a sudden non stop going through all 4 lights one at a time and now the Aux light is flashing and beeping. How do I stop this?

I assume you are talking about the sound the body computer generates, I would suggest taking it to the dealer to get it re-programed if that is the problem.

Viper remote not charging or no display

This is for the two way pager style remotes. If the remote no longer charges or it does not display anything then it could use a new rechargeable battery. This is usually the case for 9 out of 10 problems. This battery is much like the one in your cell phone and has a chargeable life. Over time and charging it gets weaker. Also if you leave the remote uncharged for a very long time there is a good chance the battery will not recharge. If you need to go on vacation for a very long time, charge the remote and then disconnect the battery from the remote. It takes about one minute after you reconnect the battery too the remote for it to start back up. This does nothing to the pairing of the remote or system, the remote saves all of that info in it and does not require battery power to keep it saved.
