The cooling fan on model

Yes , there is a cooling fan located at the top of the oven
It could be the fan blades catching, or a noisy fan bearing.
You would have to access it by removing the top oven cover to check., and yes it could be as a result of having it cleaned.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

New MORD227 installed yesterday.

You might have missed some procedures in between. You can use the user manual that came along which describes how to use the model, in the best way possible, including diagrams. Since it's under warranty, don't attempt any of those repairing measures, if suggested by any other expert. If you are not so confident of doing it yourself, you can contact the dealer, who will provide you a company repairman for free. He will teach you everything fine. If you have a habit of forgetting things, try noting it down somewhere.
Cheers. Thank You.

Oven Model CPS130S, purchase 1994,

parts catalog above.
Technical manual below.
www.scribd.com/doc/14008662/Dacor-Technical-Manual -

Most likely your electronics have been "Spiked" and you will need to replace this control pad.
Due to the age I myself would be in two minds as to repair or replace?

The oven door will not

Hi

Disconnect the electrical power. Turn it off at the panel breaker to the kitchen appliances or plug out the electrical plug from the wall outlet.

Once you do this, allow power to be off for about 15 - 20 minutes. Supply electrical power back to the appliance. This will reset the internal circuit.

If that does not work and the door has a lever which you move to the closed/open position, it may be jammed, bent slightly or forced closed to much. Wiggle it genitally as you attempt to open/release the locking device. You may have to remove the front glass panel to access the locking device. Be sure electrical power is off before doing so.
OR did you ran the self-clean…

1. Let it cool down and it should open, if not.

2. Unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker then try moving the door lock lever or opening the door if there is no lever.

3. Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Try moving the door lock lever or opening the door if there is no lever.

Dacor # MRES3OS Replaced the element

Hello,

how are you sure that the new replacement you bought it good or working. I would advice that you test the control board with a meter or take it back to where you bought it and let it be tested for you.

Or probably you did not fix the control board replacement properly.

But let the control board be tested in other to know if its working or not so that we can know where to focus your attention.

Bye for now.

What causes a flashing F1

Dear Tjacquet,

The F1 fault code indicates a problem with the Electronic Range Control (ERC) Board. If the fault cannot be cleared, they recommend replacing the ERC and the touchpad......

F1 usually indicated a defect in either the keypad or the electronic control. If the error shows when the keypad is disconnected from control, the problem is usually in the control. If the error ceases with the keypad disconnected, the keypad is usually the cause.
On some models the keypad and electronic control are 1 integral part in which case the whole control assembly usually has to be replaced to correct the problem.

Have a double oven Dacor

If a switch is open in the oven circuit, the triac won't power the heating element relays.
Consult your tech sheet as to how many switches are in the circuit of your oven. These switches could be the door switch the cavity switch and the fan switch. I have a manual which features a Dacor double oven.

F4 code

is this a seconf post about the Dacor oven...?

F4 means there is an open circuit in the Oven Temperature Sensor. Could be a bad sensor that needs replacing, cound be an issue with the wiring harness.

A test would be to short the sensor wire together at the sensor. the error code should change to F3. then you would know it is the sensor and not the harness.
