Error F1 means that your Dacor Oven indicates element relay circuit failure. To resolve this issue the control board should be replaced as it has gone bad.

jenn air had some issues with there hinges wearing fast in prior years on there ovens and then you have the ones the kids use as a trampoline sometimes or the heavy turkeys laying on the door while it is opened... there really isn't any adjustment for the door the hinges bolt inside and are held in one place by a few screws ...they are replaceable as welll as the door gasket on the unit... hope this helps you out some... alot of the appliance sites out there will be able to assist you with parts such as www.sears.com then click the parts direct link up top have your model number usually inside unit either on door or inside where door closes... some units between door and cabinet area... good luck to you

F8 code means your door latch assy needs to be replaced, them you have options:
1. Turn it off on the circuit braker
2. Replace the door latch.

It will continue to try to lock itself most likely, as door latch micro-switch logic is messed up.

oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is

This means you have turned the oven OFF The solution is to hold down both of the Cancel buttons for about 10 seconds and the oven should turn back ON.

The button may not be making contact. Unplug the oven and see if a replacement button can be purchased.

Error F8 means Failure of the door latch motor. It occurs when the motor runs for two minutes without the door locking in self-clean mode. This issue is due to faulty wiring on the door lock switch or due to door switch/door switch mechanism. You may need to open the door manually to check the door switch and/or the wiring. Before trying to open the door manual please try and reset the power to the oven, unplug it for 20-30 minutes and check if the error has disappeared. If error is still there then use a coat hanger to unlatch the door. It may need a lot of patience to unlock the door using a coat hanger. Hope this helps... I have a similar situation, our display just shows 77.

The self clean cycly lasts several hours during which time you can't open the oven or turn it off. You will just have to sit and wait.

check the ignitor.

It may have also Blown the Fuse, to the element, in the stove itself.

CHECK THAT YOU HAVE 220 AT THE PLUG OR POWER CONNECTIONS. TURN OFF POWER AND CHECK THE CONNECTIONS TO THE ELEMENTS MAY HAVE BURNED . IF OK AND NO VOLTAGE THEN CONTROLS.

I had the same problem after auto-cleaning my oven just before Thanksgiving. The cause was overheating...and the tripping of a heat sensor switch.

The switch (reset button) is located about 3 inches behind the door locking mechanism.

Removing the front panel (4 screws) that the door lock sticks through exposes the switch. Just push the little red button & your are back in business!!
