Where can I get a diagram of the inside of a Shark Steam Mop, Model S3901
Unless you\'ve been using distilled water in this unit, it will be collecting a sort of scale layer of calcium, lime, etc, on the interior walls of the steam chamber. When you clean the unit, with a cleaner of your choice, you will get a lot of this stuff off and out when you drain, but frequently there will be a few small chips that will decide to break loose after the main loosening and draining. Sometimes one or more of these errant chips of scale will find it\'s way to the heat channel of the unit and won\'t let the heat out, even though you just cleaned it. If you have or can find, one of the large paper clips, bend one of the tangs out straight and use it to sort of bore out the holes in the bottom, this will sometimes help tremendously. Occasionally, a second dousing of the same treatment is in order, to pick up those last little left over pieces.
