you need to open the following ports up on your router
Xbox Live 360 requires you to forward the following ports: 53,80,88,1863,3074.
either open the ports for all devices or give your xbox a static ip and open the ports above for it.

There should be a little hole somewhere on edge of router, insert a straightened paper clip, into the hole & push in gently. this should reset it. Also you maybe able to do it, after you have logged on to the router as administrator, via a software command.

I know that most Netopia's I've worked with have been able to port forward single or ranges of ports to numerous internals from numerous externals.

Address Translation needs to be on.
IP Passthrough has to be off.
Then in NAT Easy Servers, setup port forwards and specify the external IP, internal IP, and ports (can forward all).

connect it to the modem then reset the wireless by disonnecting the ain cable after this reset the modem the same way u did with the router and if u did it okay it should be working

It will be better if you reset the router completely to its default settings and just reconfigure it back, to reset it just press and hold the reset button of the router for 10 seconds while power is ON......then reconfigure it after that.....

probably you need to open some ports, try www.portforward.com and see if you can open the ports for your xbox.

Get an Ethernet cable and plug it into both items. If you do not have a spare one, you might find one at thrift stores for very cheap.

Technically no, not unless the PC where the modem is connected to is used as a Gateway/Share Internet Connection and is connected to the WAN side of the router. However, this arrangement would need a lot of manual configuration and settings on the modem side PC as well as the client PCs.

Alternately, you may be better off connecting the modem PC to a hub rather than a router and set static IP adds on the client PCs.

Hi You can fix this problem by entering 192.168.1.1 or your routers ip.then you can accsess your routers software and in the WLAN section you can change the password or reset. try looking under every section until you find the correct area which you can do things to the WLAN setting. Hope this worked :)

The password (a string of 26 letters and numbers) is usually situated on a sticker on the back of the box.

It all depends on the brand of your router, but mainly is to jump into the GUI with your admin password, look for DHCP options, static DHCP and save the MAC Address of the host with the desired IP.
