This does not sound good because the breakers tripping may indicate a compressor windings short. Have someone do the test below, Unplug the refrigerator and remove the back panel that covers the compressor. There should be 3 wires going inside the cover of the compressor. Mark all 3 and mark their location so if compressor is OK you can put them back in same order. The plastic cover may snap on and you may need to squeeze the sides to unlock the cover and sometimes there is a metal clip holding the cover in place. Remove the cover. May look hard but it's simple. There will be three connections under the cover and 2 will go through the start relay. Unplug them leaving the three prongs exposed. They may be marked R =Run, S=Start and C=Common. Set your meter on continuity and then begin by testing 2 at a time until you have checked S to R and R to C an C to S and S to R again. You should get a reading all the way around. If no reading between any of the pairs as you go around you should get no reading between any two the compressor has an open winding and is defective. Then if it passes that test then touch one probe to R and the other to the copper pipes or clean metal on outside of compressor, then S to metal outside and C to metal outside. If you get a reading this way even just a little. The compressor is a burnout. Then let me know what you find. Thanks, Sea Breeze
Check the door is square to the frame and no shelves are sticking out stopping the door from closing properly. The seal should be magnetic and stick to the frame quite well.Check no metal strips have come off so the magnetic seal isn't attaching to the frame
Defected DEFROST HEATER can cause frost build up on the panel at the back of the freezer,and freezer stop cooling and ice frozen on unit so air could not flow to refrigerator side.Water will coming out caused of unbalanced freezing,and causing the flooding of water in the floor. You must change this defroster heater assembly so it will works normal again..
The defrost element has failed, ice buildup will be noted at the inside rear of unit lower. Replace defrost element (service tech required). fixed and many years trouble free, very common.
Is your compressor kicking on? If not then check the contactor-relay and the capacitor. If that isn't the problem then it is probably your compressor. Which is quite expensive to replace.
THE UINT IS FROZE UP, YOU WILL NEED TO DEFROST IT. USE A FAN TO BLOW INTO THE FREEZER PORTION , AND HAVE LOTS OF BIG THIRSTY TOWELS HANDY .. THIS WILL TAKE ABOUT 2 HOURS TO DEFROST, WIPE EVERY THING INSIDE THE UNIT DRY !... JAY THE POOL PUMP MOTOR REPAIR GUY FLORIDA
sounds like the freezer probably over worked the compresser pull fridge bottom cover off and look for frost or the condenser fins might be on back if you see frost on either one you need to turn it off and let the frost melt then start it up again
