Flap to close ice dispenser has fallen down and there is frost building on the outside of the ice cube bin. How do I put it back in? Or how do I take the front part of the ice/water dispenser off to

You would need to install whats called an Ice Door Kit made for whirlpool refrigerators. I am making an assumption that yours is a Whirlpool made Kenmore, your model number starts with 106. This is not an easy repair, you have to modify the door to install the kit, you might want to call Sears to fix it. If you want to take a chance and fix it yourself I can get you the part number.

I saw your response to another Kenmore frig and I have a similar problem I want to ask you about. I have a Side-by-side Kenmore frig(model 106.9555722) that we've had for 16 years!! Other than r

I have seen this one other time in all my years of appliance repair and changing out the "water inlet valve" corrected the problem. I don't have an answer to why it did, but it did. Here is the valve for your unit.After you change the valve be sure to purge the water line for a good 5 - 10 mins to get all the nasty water out. Keep me posted!
