I have an RCA Executive Line 4-line phone. I was away for a week, and came back to find the speakerphone when I dial out is significantly muffled on some of the lines (people that I am calling complain of noise on the line). If I take it off speaker, the quality on the handpiece is normal. First, I thought it was the batteries, so I replaced them. Didn't change. Is there a reset? Is the phone (base) after less than 1 year defective?

IF U ARE FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS TO RECORD THE MESSAGE THEN THE RECORDING CHIP CIRCUIT THAT STORES THE RECORDED MESSAGE IS DEFECTIVE, THESE PRODUCTS ARE NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE COST, IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN REPLACING IT.

If your employer allows it, you should be able to retrieve your messages. Here is how I suspect it would work:

1. You call your office phone number (must be a direct line)
2. A greeting message invites you to leave a message.
3. At the beep that indicates the begining of the recording you key in your password .
4. The answering system (if so programmed) recognizes the code number and sets off reading a few menu options, among which is one that allows you to retrieve your messages.
   

But these are just speculations, I have no idea if it is implemented in your enterprise phone system. Besides, you may have an extension number, not a direct line.

I suggest you call your number and explore the menu options the caller is offered. If you do not find any that allows you to retrieve messages, that option is probably not implemented.
Maybe you should investigate the possibility to reroute the messages to your home phone. However I remind you that some employers may not like that: All that comes to the company is company property, and rerouting messages may be construed as espionage (industrial spying).

If I were in your boots, I would not let my personal (private) messages (phone, e-mail) to transit through my employer's switchboard or e-mail server.

I would suggest that you ask the phone-system resource person.

Go near the base of the corded phone to register your cordless phone. Press "menu" on your cordless phone and press arrow key till you see "Registration". Press "Select" key. The sreen will show "Yes" and "No" sign. Press arrow key once to select "Yes" then press "Select" key. The sreeen will show "Registerring.." , at this time press "Page" key on the corded or base phone and hold it for a few seconds until you hear a beeping sound. This is the sign the the phones are syncronized. You can now use your cordless phone.

KP500 does not have voice dialing feature available. Did you even read the instructions?

This is not a 'generic' problem; it needs a model number in the message and if you have that, download the manual for it. The procedure is not the same for all RCA devices.

basically the chips of caller id got defective so u need to replace a new phone in place of old one

Honestly I would just change phones.
The back of the phone where it plugs in tells you the voltage. Normal phone voltage is 9 volts, therefore, the plug-in should also say Output 9 volts.

If the wireless has stopped working, then there is a communication error and the phone or wireless may need to be upgrade or reinstalled.

You must make sure that all phones have same line appearence
Line1 on all phones has to be line 1
Line 2 should be Line 2 etc.
I have a feeling someone moved a line cord around.

My tv has a text going on for deaf people. How do I remove it?

i can answer the phone but cannot talk on the recv. it works the same on speaker as well. you can hear but they cannot hear me. i have changed out the headset, but its still the same. any help would be greatly appreciated.
