CD445 voice message icon won't stop flashing
This feature is country dependent and may not
appear in some countries.
If you have subscribed to the voicemail service
from your local service provider, icon turns
on when you have a new message in your
mailbox. After you have accessed to all the new
messages, icon will turn off automatically. If
you find that the message waiting indication
cannot be turned off by the network, you can
still turn off the message waiting indication with
your phone by the following step :
In idle mode, if voice mail waiting icon is on,
long press the redial key to turn off the voice mail waiting
icon.
Once you choose to delete the message waiting
indication, all the other handsets registered to
the same base station will turn off the message
waiting indication accordingly.

How do I turn off the flashing light on the handset?
Just go thru the call log and look at each call, then the message indication icon in the lcd disappears and the red lights stop flashing on all the phones, but only after you have looked at each one and the message icon in the lcd goes away above each call.
Happy New Year

CALLER ID NOT DISPLAYED.DISPLAYS EXTERNAL CALL
Caller ID in the USA uses the FSK standard. For the most part, callerID in India uses DTMF (although I have heard of some FSK usage).
I am currently living in New Delhi and have an Airtel home phone line.My switch uses DTMF. I went to the Palika electronics bazaar (I awaysuse shop number 266 near gate 5, they seem to be a little kinder toforeigners as far as the "final price") and purchased an DTMF to FSKconvertor. My US phones now show caller ID information, although usingUS number seperations ### - ### - ####. I paid R500 but you couldprobably get it for around R400 if you are willing to put in the timebargaining. It looks like they are also available on
Indian Ebay.
Mine says UST001B. It looks like these are low volume items becausethey stuck the components into a box marked "DSL Splitter" It works toconvert the caller ID as advertised.

Philips CD130 flashing 'Warning'
You need to dry it out completely. A few centrifugal swings around your shoulder might remove much of the water. Then try one of these drying methods: Place it on a register or AC vent for a day or so might be the best way to get it dry.
Afterwards, (if trying to operate it didn't short out a component,) it might work again.
