Default is always 12345678 then it asks you for new PIN. Enter 0000 and enter 0000 again to confirm but if it says incorrect PUK, please stop there and call vodafone customer care line using a different (friends maybe) phone and ask them for correct PUK. they will give it to you FREE.
Be carefull because putting in an invalid PUK code many times can make your simcard permanentlly unusable!!!

call up your carrier early in the morning from a land phone with your cell in hand...tell the tech (your carrier is the only one who have the PUK #) the problem he/she will give you on the phone instruction to get u back on track......this will take u 5 - 10 min if you call early morning (avoid hold and waiting time)

Likely causes are:
Battery problems (not charged or won't hold a charge). Replace battery.
Loose or dirty battery connections. Remove the battery, inspect and clean the contacts on the battery and in the phone.
Phone problem. Sometimes can be corrected by removing the battery and reinstalling it after a few moments.
If everything else fails, the phone needs to be repaired.

For soft reset type *#7780# For hard reset type *#7370# and if it ask passcode enter the passcode as 12345 as default.Please backup all your data if you performing hard reset because hard reset deletes all data on your phone like contacts,messages,music,videos and photos

Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com

2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.

3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.

If your desktop pc or laptop has antivirus,
have your pc scan your fon memory through bluetooth, or usb cable

OR:
If you have Virus On mobile
1 - remove memory card.
2 - dial *#7780# or *#7073*
3 - It format your Phone
4 - Format memory card.

How old is the Phone? Phone batteries usually only last a year. Go through the phone and make sure things like the gps wifi bluetooth are turned off. also a constant data connection for auto updates of facebook or email or weather will decrease battery life.

Thought this is worth sharing. I have Sony Ericsson K810i and it started rebooting following a white screen since a month ago. The problem began after I had updated the flash thru the Sony Ericsson PC Suite. I did not know what to do. I even checked removing the 2GB mem card which is installed in my phone.
After lot of R&D, I walked into the Vodfone gallery (as I have Vodafone mobile service). The support adviser at Vodafone, immediately asked me to remove the SIM (as per him, it may damage my cell phone's screen). He then replaced my SIM card and the problem is resolved. s u can....activate gprs.....den install sony ericsoon pc suite in your pc....connect your mobile to the pc using data cable.....den u will see de option " connect to internet". click it and enjoy browsing anywhere... :) is tis helpful???

There is the Sony Ericsson Update Service (details on the SE Webiste) however this will only update the firmware, it won't re-install the firmware. Specific equipment is required to flash the firmware on a SE K810i, you will need to take the phone to a reputable mobile phone engineer or SE Service Point.
